New Winx Comic Books coming from VIZ Media in July. These may be “Animangas” (Comics made from screencaps of the show) But I hope not.

Yeah! I'm happy for the comics. I just hope they are like the actual comics and not just the screenshots from the show. xD

They will probably start slowly showing up in stores in the fall sometime, looks cool! I wonder if the comics will really do well or not though, I still feel comics (especially one aimed at a female audience) aren't too popular in the US.

Oh thanks for the info. I guess I will have to check in stores when they release to see if they are there or not yet. xD

Really? I hadn't known that the comics target for female audience weren't popular. (Is it me because I think that's why I have trouble finding comics around here. =S)

I really have a feeling that the books published by VIZ Media are the comics because the storyline looks similar to the actual comics. It could be possible there will be a new look for the comics. =S I just hope it's not a novel.
The Junior Novels that are published by Randi Reisfeld and Golden Books must be the actual novel of the story.

If the image you posted is legit, then I would assume comics since it has the number at the top and novels do not typically do that.

Is it just me or is Bloom's outfit different than normal? Anyways, if that is the true release date, I don't like how they are starting the comics all the way from the beginning of the series when season 4 is the current one that kids will be more familiar with.

yeah, they covered her midrift with a lighter blue fabric.

it is kind of annoying for the comic to start far off from the show, but it's kind of nice at the same time. it's more Winx for those who want it, right? I'm probably going to buy it all, unless it's too expensive. the Sailor Moon comics are already pricey enough.

Yeah I agreed. It's kinda annoying to start from the beginning and we have to wait for 1-3 months for a new volume. =/ I mean Season 4 had started. Then the comics will be behind. ^^" The Official English Winx Comics were up to Issue 72 only the comics no extra stuff like news, quizzes, etc.

I'm also going to buy all the volumes this time. xD I only have the 1st Volume when 4kids.tv was around with Winx. I had trouble finding more after that. =/

To Marie: We don't know. =S It could be just the comics only.

I had the same problem purchasing the magazines back in the day. im glad theyre out but me and Chimi collect the spanish ones (the same as the italian but subbed with spanish) they're awsome and have all the new images and spoilers. i wish the English ones where still happening so we could have all the latest updates,

How many issues you have Abby? =) I remembered when the first issue was released, I was trying to subscription the next magazines...but 4kids.tv never sent me the next issue. -_-" So I was stuck with 1.
