OK, I know we like Nabu, but I would like to comment on totally lame and totally unnecessary twist: Roxy being Morgana's daughter. And although some predicted that, I must say I refused to believe in something so lame and so stupid. But this brings me to another point: timeline.
Let's see, people stopped believing in magic so long ago that nobody remembers fairies. But the fairies still remained somewhere hidden (possibly Tir Nan Og) At some point princess (or queen) goes to Gardenia and meets handsome dude named Klaus, marries him, and has daughter with him, but then Ogron captures fairies and erases Klaus's memory? OK, I can accept that. People didn't believe in magic, so they weren't aware of the threat of the wizards. But, then, why was Faragonda so surprised to find out that Bloom is fairy from Earth? The fairies there disappeared about 15 years ago, it was perfectly possible that some daughter was left. Why did they mention that fairies were captured for centuries? Similar thing bugged me about Domino and Bloom, since in first season they made it sound like there was no life on Domino for ages, and nobody remembered how nice it was. I was able to accept it once. Two times is too much.

Well, at least they are not all princesses. I think 4Kids tried to make it look like they all were. It seems to me that there were two types of people in charge of this season: the ones for older and the ones for younger fans. And the latter ones came up with pets, winx rock band, and Roxy being princess. (I just don't see her as one) And that stupid insisting on similarities between Roxy and Bloom. I just don't see it, and Bloom keeps repeating it. Even in this episode, after Morgana declared "im your mom" Bloom commented how hers and Roxy's story look like. For me, Bloom loved fairies, had no idea why she has the powers, and was a bit puzzled about her background since she had no idea who Daphne was. She wanted to be fairy, and insisted on leaving Gardenia, and the only time she was scared was in the movie, when she returned to Gardenia, at that time she might look like Roxy a bit. On the other hand, Roxy didn't want to hear about fairies, she didn't want her life to change, and that was (at least to me) main motif for her behavior, not some fear that she will not be able to rescue Morgana, she didn't even think about that. Sure, she becomes strong, and has some initiative, but the rest of the winx are the same way, and at best she seems like Musa, but she is not like Bloom.
As for the older fans, I must say this was very good season, and twists were good, villains were good, and I have really high expectations of the last episode...

I think with this, it's just them finally expanding on an idea. I'm willing to bet when Winx first began, no one thought it would be as popular as it is now. Maybe the creator only had an idea for one season, (maybe two) in his head and went with it. As the show progressed and more seasons and episodes were needed, so some irregularities in the storyline will pop up.

QUOTE (Dreaming_faerie @ Nov 11 2009, 03:26 PM) I think with this, it's just them finally expanding on an idea. I'm willing to bet when Winx first began, no one thought it would be as popular as it is now. Maybe the creator only had an idea for one season, (maybe two) in his head and went with it. As the show progressed and more seasons and episodes were needed, so some irregularities in the storyline will pop up. No, I realize that, but they should be aware of what they stated in first season. I'm aware that there can be some holes in plot. For example, they had company of light fight Ancient Witches, but no one from Magix tried to help Earth fairies. Or the fact that Faragonda and rest of company of light seem to be about the same age in the movie, but Bloom's parents should be younger. Or how old was Daphne when she died? And so on... But those things, though it could be done much better, they were somehow meaningful (in terms of plot) and I don't really mind it. What bothers me is that here, a decent story was ruined. With fairies disappearing hundreds years ago it was all OK since both Faragonda and Grizelda mentioned that there were some fairies on Earth. But, for some reason (and I think because they wanted young girls to like roxy more and thus to sell more merchandise) they decided to declare Roxy a princess and daughter of Morgana, though this doesn't give anything new to plot, in fact it makes it just much more childish and makes so much problems with timeline. And not to mention nobody found it strange that Roxy didn't have pictures of her mother or something? Snakes in Omega? It's just a tiny plot hole. Maybe even it isn't a plot hole. Maybe they will show up in next episode? Of course they are not, but this can be explained in many ways. Maybe they are chasing some prisoners? Omega dimension is a big place, they can be somewhere else. Like, when Tecna was there, she managed to avoid them.

This shocks me to see Nabu's death...-_- I mean why did they choose him since he is new? He just appeared in Season 3 and it seems Layla doesn't have a lot of time to spend with Nabu. =( The other girls spend a lot of time with their boyfriends. Especially, Bloom, Stella, Musa, Tecna, and Layla from Season 1 to 4. As well in the movie too. xD Flora got her boyfriend in Season 2 to 4 so she has Helia. Layla has Nabu in Season 3 and Movie even Seaosn 4. =( It's strange to see someone die when a person is new.
But I'm hoping it's not his real death...=( In the last episode, I think they don't want to spoil it. Let's see what happens...=( I love the memories. xD Especially when Nabu gave a rose to Layla, lol.
Maybe the Winx will go back in time to save Nabu? Probably...that's impossible...I guess, Tecna and Timmy has to make an invention of it.
This caught me confusions....what will happen if the Winx Club and the Specialists goes back to Magix, like a celebration of welcoming them back. Then someone will notice one of the boys is missing. Also, how will they tell this to Nabu's parents. I couldn't imagine it. ^^" Since we saw Nabu's parents in Season 3 along with Layla's parents. Like Nabu's Parents didn't know since the Winx Club and the Specialists didn't tell them. ^^" That's going to be a twist here. =(
This episode is cool, but without Nabu doesn't seem good for me...since I feel bad for Layla. =( I so can't wait for the next episode. Oh my gosh, last episode is Friday. xD Next, we gotta wait for the movie on 2010. ^-^
