In my opinion, the worst type of copycat.

I've been dealing with a couple lately, and I'm just at the end of my rope.

Has anyone else dealt with posers?

To take credit.
For example; I write fanfiction, and someone else goes to another forum, gives him/herself my nickname, spreads the fanfiction, and says things like; Yeah, I'm P-girl, I wrote all this.' They probably do it for the currency of internet: praise.

yeah it really is wrong. I haven't had to deal with it YET and I don't want to and I hope I don't have to deal with it ever. It is so mean that someone takes your work like that!

The poser I'm dealing with has got me all wrong. She took my likes and dislikes from a profile, took my layout from my site, took my graphics *and graphics from other people*, posted my email, said she was me and keeps saying she's me even though I caught her...Funny thing is, she wrote a list of friends while pretending to be me, and trust me, the list was all wrong

I even went on there and said "If you're going to pose as me, at least get my friends right!"

I've had quite enough. I also have another poser, though she's not as serious as the other.

A few years ago when I frequented Final Fantasy Insider Forums; a few girls randomly started hating on me and I didnt know why. Apparently on aother board they went on someone signed up with my name used the same av and sig and they called them rude things etc <___<

that was a hard thing to prove that it wasnt me T___T and I was sooo mad the whole time so it got harder

It wasnt the girls who pretended to be me. We don't know who it was. But eventually I guess the main girl who the fake Meru was calling names etc, decided to believe me. >_< It made me so mad, to be totally innocent and not be believed, and not have any proof I wanted to hurt something xD

That happened to me once on MSN Messanger. Someone posed as me and said mean thigs to my mom's friend at her job. My mom knew it was not me. So I changed my password and nothing happened again.
