Pikachu, this pokemon is overrated Options

i just want to know how many people has watched or at least played pokemon(probably alot of you have). it was an alright show when i use to look at it. but they tried to make PIKACHU out to be like the strongest pokemon. and if it was the game i could take him out in like 1 hit. what do you guys think?

But Pikachu is not the strongest, it already proven that. I like pokemon in the past but I don't like it now due to those long long seasons (I want a ending!)

i know im waiting for pokemon to end to. the plot is so boring and team rocket needs to be fired im so tired of their wack entrance and them always stalking pikachu, y dont they just capture one.

I know also the games arenot as good seen allthe games except firered, leaf green and the best in my opinion was crystal

The original two were the best. The games didn't get bogged down with ancient powers of destruction, still told a very nice, arc-driven story, and the original 150 are and forever will be the best.

However, I never really hated the fact of Pikachu just being a Pikachu on the show. Pokemon isn't a typical "shonen" show, although the manga is very well done and tells the adventures of each game with different characters. The show is meant to stress the importance of confidence, although it's getting about as bad as Yu-Gi-Oh! dreaded Friendship Speeches of Ultimate Death, and teamwork.

And seriously, the manga's about a billion times better.

my favs were the whole diamond, crystal version, buf after that it just kinda got annoying. they really need to change the format of the show. i liked yu gi oh. for me it was a good show.

i saw a small bit of pokemon today, and once again pikachus thunder attack saved the day. i think they should ahve a new main character.

That's what makes the manga based on the games so good.

You've got the Kanto arc, which tells the tale of the first game with Red, Blue, and Green.
You've got the Yellow arc, which bridges the storyline between the first and second games.
You've got the Johto arc, which chronicles the adventures of Gold, Silver, and Crystal.
Then there's the Hoenn arc, where Ruby and Sapphire promise to each other to win their respective challenges. (Ruby win all the Contest Ribbons in 80 days, Sapphire getting her 8 badges)
Then there's the FireRed/LeafGreen arc, where Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Silver team up to take on Team Rocket and Deoxys, only for all of them to be turned to stone in the end.
Then there's the Emerald arc, where Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, and Gold fight through the Battle Fronteir to defeat Guile Hideout, save Jirachi, and revive the others and most recently...

The current arc, Diamond and Pearl, where the two boys serve as a bodyguard for a wealthy aristocrat.

See, this is a good storyline in the spirit of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, where the torch is passed on to new heroes as time goes on.

also in the anima there was no blue

I looked it up on Wikipedia, and I've read some of the Kanto and Yellow arcs. Much better pacing and battles, in my opinion.

they need to change the concept of the pokemon games, becus there getting lame, now there is like a new game with pikachu and piplup and that looks dum to.
