Is there a possibility that I can take screenshots from a Youtube video? Cause I need some for a wallpaper.....
If not, is it possible to save youtube videos on your hard drive? I believe I once heard that Darkar managed that..... Please help.

dont know anything about taking screenshots from a youtube video.but i know how to download youtube videos.if u want to download them pm me and i will tell u the way.by the way were u talking about me that i managed that.i m the only darkar here at the forums.

you could always just pause the video on youtube and hit print screen, then just paste that into a photoshop document etc.

To take screens, I push "pause" on the video and push apple, 3, and control at the same time. I'm sure theres something you could do like that on a PC.

On the PC just hit "Print Screen" (sometimes called "Prnt Scrn") which is usually above "Insert"

put it into an image editor such as GIMP, photoshop or MSpaint. (for some reason i like to edit some images in Flash) and then cut out the bit you want and delete the rest. then you can resize and save in whichever format you want.

It's totally possible. I do it all the time.

I have a program called 'Preview' I'm not sure how much it costs because it just came on my computer. If you do get this (or already have) though, you go under File, then Grab then Selection and select the part you want

Hope this helps. I'll try and see if you can do it without this program. Good Luck!

I have a Mac OS X (10). Hmm...
Oh! It was my mistake, it's the shift key, not control. >_<
Well, you push Shift, then hold onto that while you push the apple button, and while holding onto both of those keys, you push 3 (the actual number, not F3). You should hear a clicking sound and the picture should go to your desktop (saved as Picture 1), or in another designated folder, (if not on the desktop, go to the spotlight and type Picture 1.png to find location).
