"Rapunzel" does sound very nice. I totally agree P-girl. I miss the old classic fairy tales. Or tales in general. I am still highly anticipating "The Bear and the Bow." Just need to wait it out a few more years, heh.

And nope Mish, still haven't seen "Enchanted", but I heard it was cute.

"Bear and the Bow" is one they are still developing, but from what I can glean it is in a Scottish setting and the main female protagonist is an archer with fiery-red curly hair. She looks awesome. ^^

Has anyone watched 'Enchanted' by Disney?

Yes, I have! It was a very cute movie. *Whaps self for being such a sucker for romantic comedies.*

@Jahn and Joy: Glad you watched it! Don't you think it's creative how there is an animation world and the real world...?

December 11, 2009 airing date for "Princess and the Frog" in the United States (and maybe Canada too?). I'm getting antsy. I want to see a good 2D Disney movie again.

Whoa, fersmiggen awesome Tea! The face screams "I'm a little princess and daddy gives me all of his money because I tell him to do so". I mean it's plainly drawn, right there. *points adamantly* icon_razz.gif

I saw the movie too, and while it wasn't quite like the well-put together Disney movies of yonder years, it did have that looooovely throw-back to the old 2D I LOVE so much. I did like Tiana's character, oh and Prince what's-his-butt...Naveen? They were a great foil together.

Thanks Zhan! I'm glad 2 hours in Gimp paid off then. xD

Yeah, it wasn't like, the BEST Disney movie, but Charlotte easily makes my 10 ten list of Greatest Disney Characters ever.

I think you may be on to something with that. Just thinking about her saying "Puddin' "... lol. I get this goofy look on my face. Kind of like right now. xP <---I look like that. Big "X" for eyes and all.

Wouldn't it be so great if we all went around saying "Puddin' "? I mean, how fanta--*is shot*

Tehe, Puddin'...

I'm pretty sure her voice actress won some like fancy Achievement in Voice Acting award for her performance. Which is awesome, because she was perfect. XD

aw! I thought it was pretty good. And I also had some laughs. But I don't know if it was truly funny, or because tea and I were sitting beside each other in a almost empty theater laughing at inside jokes. XD

I saw it, and I loved it. The characters were great, all of them slightly stereotypical, but with a twist. Best presented by Charlotte, the good-natured spoiled little blonde who has to lay off the sugar. Also, I saw it in Dutch, something I kinda dreaded.... but once I got into it, I didn't care. It sounded natural and good, and once more, special mention should go to Georgina Verbaan voicing Charlotte. She looks like a difficult one to voice over with that amount of hyperactive energy, but it fitted brilliantly. I also liked how bright, over-the-top and overall fantastic the animation was. In recent times, when movies have that demure, down-to-Earth feeling to them, it felt good to see an animation movie go all out, especially present in the songs like 'Dig a little deeper' and the brilliantly purple 'Friends on the other side'.
