I love all of them! ^^

However my all-time favorite (for now at least, lol) would have to be Beauty and the Beast.

Update on the Prince's profile. And it's not a good one:

You may want to shield your eyes from the dashingly stupid smile:
Spoiler!

And now for the merchandise:
Spoiler!

At least the merchandise of the Princess and the Prince looks alright.

But come on. The Prince looks like a corn ball! I can't take him seriously. And he better be a serious character and not like the goofy "hero" in Enchanted. Blargh. But then perhaps he's not meant to be the Prince charming I was hoping for (i.e. clever, humble, conscientious). More blargh.

O: Wow, I thought Disney closed their 2D animation studio for good after that movie about the cows a few years back. I'm interested to see how they'll go about this one. And some of the movies on that list looked interesting.

Anybody else notice 'TOY STORY 3" on that list?
holy carp! O: what the heck are they gonna make it about? XD

I'm excited for The Princess and the Frog, and I haven't seen any trailers for Rapunzel (is there any out? ._.) but I'm excited for that also.

I actually just watched the Princess and the Pea on youtube last night (cant remember who made it but <<) and I loved it; Disney should add the poor under appreciated princess with her pea to the MAKE INTO SMASH DISNEY HIT NAO PLZ movie

12 dancing princesses... man there was a book i used to have with lots of fairytales in them D< and I can;t remember their names or what they were about, most of em.

=O TOY STORY 3.
... Looking forward to that one xD They're also making Toy Story into 3D, coming out this year. ANYONE NOTICED THAT, TOO?

12 Dancing Princesses? ... OH YEAH NOW I REMEMBER THAT STORY. But I probably gotta re-read it, I think that fairytale book is somewhere in my room. {Two collections of fairytales in books I know I have; H.C. Andersen and the Grimm ones.}

Got a little bit of an update. Well, more like an interview on The Princess and the Frog. It's heartening because they talk about traditional 2D. =) It also explains the plot a bit and previews some of the characters.

I liked that interview. And I think, while hand-drawn animation will probably take a back seat, it will never be truly gone. I mean, it's technically an art-form, and there's much love for it.

Yeah I remember hearing a lot of critcism about this movie when they were starting production a few years ago. At first it was happy it was the first black princess but then like you said they started picking about her position (cinderella wasnt any better off) as being racist, the whole prince thing they were saying disney was saying that "black men werent good enough to be princes" its like come on, I would actually like to see more interacial couples but more of the films took place in older days when countries were most isolated. There was also I heard supposed to be around a princess of an african tribe and featuring older african culture or something like that but they got mad saying again that "can black not be royalty?" (apparently the position and dresses is more important then culture)(also the only reason the other princess' had the big dresses was because it was the style of the time in england, france, spain, etc it doesnt define a princess) They definatly seem to be arguing as if this movie is based on the imagery other then the story. To be honest I hope they ignore everything and do it there way (though that may be to late)

And yeah im glad to get the traditional animation back, the 3d stuff is cool but the traditional is my favourite. When they were making brother bear thay were saying that would be closing the traditional animation studio (and just doing cartoons or right to video ) to have a larger 3d animation studio and were going to hire a couple thousand more animators. Well im glad theyre trying to turn it around.

Not having anything to do with it being 2-D or 3-D..... but Disney's picking up again in Fairy Tale choises! The Princess and the Frog has always been a favorite tale of mine and Rapunsel is rated very high to. I'm really excited.
