Rumor Being Posted Everywere Online About The Movie Options

The has been a rumor being posted on the Internet in many places that the English version of the movie will be premeiring in Hollywood california in a film festival on may, 27,2008. I had a link to prove it to everyone but when I tryed going to the link 2 double check the account had been banned.
I dont completely believe it since its a rumor but I just wanted to tell everyone about it

On the Rainbow CGI site, it says the movie will be out in English on the 30th of November, 2008...

if Rainbow CGI says it, it's probably true because that's one of the most official companies involving Winx (Rainbow S.p.A. is probably the most important), but it would seem there is no Rainbow CGI website. I found a link to the site, but it either doesn't work or there is no more site. I don't doubt there was one, there just isn't one anymore.

thats weird. its like they are hiding this information from us, banning the sites that say it. well i hope its true. even though its a long time to wait at least we get to see it. i hope.
but i can't help to think that they don't want us to know this information.....

I agree, they could be deliberately hiding information from fans. Possibly because they still can't set a permanent date and may change it too often to make it official. Also, the fact that they aren't keeping English fans up to date shows their disregard for their fans. I just get this feeling that they were satisfied to appease their Italian viewers, and a few other countries nearby, but now that they've pleased those fans they've gotten lazy and seem to have lost any incentive to keep the remaining fans interested and up to date. Like they only really cared about their Italian fans, but don't give a crap about the rest of the world that's still waiting, as it seems we are not important enough. We're just a second thought. Sure, if Winx was a bigger hit in the US and other in english countries they'd be all over trying to appease us, but unfortunately, at least for the US, we are not an incentive at all as we no longer contribute to their profit schemes. Overall, I feel like we are being shunned or left out, and it irks the heck out of me.

ok joy calm down but i have to agree they did say the movie was going to premeier on nov 2007 but it also said at tv.com that the winx club movie eng version was going to premeire on sept 1 2008

But that says ENGLISH VERSION, not necessarily USA.
I SWEAR! if we don't get the movie, I will:

D. Restrain myself from killing someone
E. Lock myself in the basement and play Kingdom Hearts for as long as I want

If the US doesn't get it I will hunt the english version down to the ends of the internet. Then when I lasso it and drag it back with me kicking and screaming I will find somewhere to host it for everyone to download. You hear me jerks at Rainbow!?

When the website loads, at the bottom-right corner of the window, you'll see a quick message flash onto the screen.

The message only appears once.

Hey, thanks for that great link. It's got a lot of good information on it =).

Edit: Wait a second guys...November 30? That was when the movie aired in Italy last year. And on the CGI site see how that graphic hides the date and says 2.200.000 Euros in the first weekend? I think they are just letting fans know that when it came out in November 30, 2007 that it was a big success. I don't think that's the date for the US release unfortunately.

Yeah, the english CGI site is just a translation of the italian one...a very poor one at that (it said that the winx has a "toilet line" instead of a "toiletry line"...BIG mistake) so that date isn't for any english version, just the italian.

We know there will be an english version, just not when (do we? I havn't heard anything about the UK release date). I plan on just buying that version on DVD and watching it on my computer (I think my DVD plaer won't play that region, but if it does than YAY tv!). I like the UK version better anyways, closer to the original and Stella doesn't make me wanna die.

What kinda pisses me off about the CGI site though is how they talk about all the hard work that went into developing the idea of a team of girls using magic to fight evil...when like 5 had allready premiered in Italy, including the italian series WITCH. I think WITCH came out first, I dunno though. I don't care if the series are similar, just don't say you did a lot of research and thinking to come up with an idea that was made popular back in 1991 (Thank you Sailor Moon)
