Winx Club - Il Segreto Del Regno Perduto (Winx Club - The Secret Of The Lost Kingdom) is a CGI movie based on the Winx Club animated series. Released on November 30 in Italian Cinemas, 2007 and scheduled to be released for Dish Network satellite television pay-per-view on either March or April of 2008. The movie is planned to air in the US on September 1, 2008 on most FOX stations. The film is set to take place after the events of the third season.

I wasn't going on defense or anything lol, it must seem like it though. Everything said through the computer seems cold doesnt it?

I think it would make sense as well. I was counting the weeks...and it seems that if 4kids plays the third season, I *think* it'll end near September. Therefore people can watch it, not get lost and watch the movie, knowing where they left off.

I found it quite strange when 4kids suddenly decided to put Winx Club back on Air. Then again, I don't know much about the media industry so I really can't say.

My theory is that their view numbers PLUMMETED after Winx stopped airing, so they're just realizing the cause and putting the cause of plummet-ness back on air to stop the low views.
My theory.

I agree with humbu - Winx was the only reason I got up early on Saturdays!
Either they did realize that their viewers were sleeping in due to their cutting of Winx, or they figured, "Hey, we're gonna run this movie soon, we'd better run some background so it doesn't confuse everyone!"
Whatever: I'm still eager to see the movie. I'll keep searching for the RAI English version, tho. sleep.gif

yea its good that they are showing winx again on 4kids. but that would mean that winx the movie is going to probably come out in september like it said in a lot of site. look how long it took to finish showing one season. they cut it off and show it again cause of some event that happen.
i hope i'm making sense.

Any sign of the movie coming to DVD yet with subtitles? I don't need the movie to be in english, but I'd really prefer that they release the italian movie with official english subtitles. I've grown fond of their voices (albeit, a little similar sounding) but the roll of the italian language is nice to listen to. Or is the progress of the fan-subbing making any headway? I don't want to wait until september to truly watch it =(.

I hope they do play the movie on Sept 1 and also but the movie on dvd too. But i'm not sure i believe what wiki says on that website though.

Well, I *personally* have seen *in this area* that we get previews for movies about 4 months or 1 season in advanced.
So if I get word from cinema previews {and friends who go} in summer, then we'll expect autumn for the movie!
But if it will be on TV, I bet you anything Fox and/or 4kids is gonna be showing a commerc {read: commersh} as autumn comes closer.
If it does air on fox. Should I channel-watch?

we aren't sure when it is airing at all, if it even is on tv. I don't trust that date that much but it still could be true.
