...And I watched Hairspray in theaters, and waited for the DVD, and I didn't know that that happened.

See, ya only know it's there if you wanna look. And unfortunately, a lotta people do.

Last time I went [to AMC], my friend Cessa had this huge purse you could easily have fit a video camera and a couple of batteries and tapes in, and they just went, "Okay, um...You got any video cameras in there?" We said no, because of course we didn't, being good people, but they didn't try to check or anything! Someone could seriously lie and bring in a camera and they wouldn't tell the difference, which is how all these problems start! And people put it on Youtube, and people watch them, even though those are normally in the WORST quality possible...

I wouldn't hate them for doing it. It's wrong, very true, and when it comes out on DVD, it could lose money, but still, I know somebody who posted up parts of it and they're a very good person. The users who posted it were probably trying to help curious fans. It's wrong though; not to mention illegal, and it should be taken down as soon as possible.

yea. its on youtube so they are going to have to take it down soon. but i guess your right Boo. they are just trying to help. but they shouldn't have post the whole movie. they should just post little parts like sneak preview.

I agree. But capturing it in a theater is very illegal, so sneak peaks might even be stretching the limit.

I am certain that the users on youtube that posted it though, got it from another source. I blame whoever recorded it in theaters and put it online in the first place.

yeah me too. I mean I just wish that they would realize that they should take it down because of how illegal it is. I was just at the theater yesterday, and I saw a sign saying that recording the movie is illegal and is not tolerated and it made me think about how all of them are up on youtube now. I am pretty sure they also got it from another source, but then again you could say that they should have said to themselves that it is illegal and they shouldn't put them up on other sites because that just spreads the illegal footage around even more.

Thats I what I wonder too. Awhile ago, lots of fan made videos were deleted (some with credit given), and yet, the videos of the winx movie don't seem to be causing any problems.

I think though, that they don't check all the time for copyright infringement. But next time they do, I will make a guess that the scenes from the winx movie will be deleted first.

Erm, I've found something about the "2nd movie?" I'm suspecting if it's seriously real or not, the title for it is "Winx Club - Il talismano delle Pixie"
