akon is ok!! I like some of his songs, some rap is ok but I am not a big fan of it. I am more a techno fan and rock.

I don't especially care for rap...
I listen to alternative rock and techno pop, some of the current songs I like are If Everyone Cared(nickelback), Everything She Says(tATu), Dub in Life(Eiffel 65), Somebody Help Me(Full Blown Rose), and Papercut (Linkin Park)..

I know.. (yuck!) but for all the things she said, I just ignore the story behind the lyrics, and make my own story up for them (I love the beat to that song)

Uh...huh. I don't especially like them either, but not for the words; I just don't like the beats of most of their music. I like a few songs by the Goo Goo Dolls, though, like "Broadway is Dark Tonight."

I like Tsukiko Amano, Utada Hikaru, Linkin Park (Early stuff), Nickel Back, goo goo dolls, and very early Michael Jackson...to be specific I like Thriller, Beat it, Billy Jean, and smooth criminal.

Edit: And I've heard some of Ashley Tisdale's stuff. I think she's a great singer.

out of those, I like linkin park (I like a few songs from their CD Hybrid Theory and 1 from Meteora), a little of the goo goo dolls, nickelback, and 1 song by Utada Hikaru
