Winx isn't the only doll company, by far, so I decided to open this thread for people to show their non-Winx dolls. That means Barbies, Moxies, Bratz, W.I.T.C.H., porcelain dolls and whatnot..... or things like these:

Meet Lei Wulong, of Tekken fame. Up until Tekken 6, he was my favorite character, and still pretty darn awesome. He's very, VERY obviously inspired by Jackie Chan. (He could be considered a rip-off..... if it wasn't for the fact he's grown more and more in his own persona, keeps a high level of badass while Chan is (Unfortunately) in it's decline (Still love ya, but please, Chan, you're getting to old for this) is very, very pretty (If guys can drool over Christie, I can drool over him), is a very fun and complicated character to use and actually knows proper English (Tekken 4? What's that? *Personal discontinuity*)).

Anyways, the doll.
The level of detail on his clothes is awesome, especially concerning the patterning;
If I had to nitpick, his jacket's neckline's a bit to high for this particular outfit, but actually suits him, seeing how he now wears his collars like that.
The facial mold leaves me.... partial. On one hand, the detailing is amazing. However, it's also a bit.... bland. Lei is a very colorful character, with one of the most expressive faces in the game. It just collides with this neutral face.

And for comparison;

Stormy; WHY did I sit with you, again? You're such a goody two shoes.
Lei: What can I say? I've got a thing for axe-crazy people with an evil laugh. (Tekken Slash in-joke.)
Stormy: *Sigh*
Lei: Think of it like this.....

Lei: You rather want to spend time with a Musa?
Stormy: See your point, so.... you doing anything tonight, Supercop?

So? Gotta have a hobby. And there's a difference between playing and collecting.

Yeah, P-Girl's got a point. I basically do the same thing, I collect rather than play most of the time.

Dude I didn't even know there was a Stormy doll XD

And Terri, my mom is almost 50 and still collects dolls. It's actually a very popular hobby for adults. And "playing" is a relative term. There are tons of high-end fashion dolls where the whole point is to buy or make outfits for them, so if changing their clothes counts as playing, then yeah my mom and I still play with dolls. (mine also serve as my writing muse, on occasion)

I'll need to get the pics my mom and I took of our Ellowyne dolls of the other computer =D

but now she collects Moxie girls.. and she hasnt taken them out of their boxes .. which is suprising concidering she's 11.

Me too! Well, I try. I usually get a doll, then take it out of the box, then regret it later. The only doll I still have in it's box is my Tinkerbell doll that I got at the Disney store in Hamilton.

I'm also not really a fan of keeping your dolls 'Mint' or whatever they call it. That's not the point of them! They want to be free!

My mom used to collect Barbies, but one of the reasons she stopped is that she got really mad about the "collector" dolls. Mattel was so sure that nobody would ever take them out of the boxes that they ruined the back half of the doll. There was no back to the outfit, the entire back of her head was bald, it just wasn't pretty.
