[Another Morning]

((So I'm going to attempt this and hope that it works out. Basically, the premise here is, "What would Aflea have been like if the world wasn't threatened every year?" Meaning, what's a normal magic school like when there isn't some huge world-threatening baddy that a group of students has to fight?

Vanderfelt Academy is a private school on the planet Spectrum that teaches grades K-12 (meaning elementary/primary school thru highschool) that only accepts the most promising students. This could be because of physical ability, magical ability, intelligence, or maybe even just ranking in society. All classes are taught at a fairly advanced level, the teachers are all epected to be experts in their fields. But the school is not necessarily all work and no play. With regular shuttles to the nearby capital city of Olose (which is full of clubs, theatres, shops, and even casinos and bars, should the students be feeling a little devious), regular campus parties and dances, and tons of students, there's lots of fun to be had. If you're into that kind of thing, anyway. Maybe you like to throw yourself into yourself studies and keep your grade at impossible levels of perfection.

You can be a student of any grade level, but the campus has the buildings divided like this:
K - 6 in one building
7 - 9 in one building
10 - 12 in one building

So keep in mind how big the groups are. If everybody is highschool level and you're in middle school, it will be hard for you to do a lot of interacting. Your student can stay at home if they live nearby, or they can stay in the school dorms. You could also be a teacher. You could even be a janitor, if you want. Anything you can think of. Basically, the idea is to make this exciting without having to make some big epic battle happen. There can be fights, of course, it's bound to happen in a magic school! But let's see what we can do without putting the world in peril. How will your student fit in? If you're a teacher, maybe you've been there forever and people often ask you for advice, or maybe you're brand new and kind of terrified. Whatever you want! You can be somebody from the Winx show, if you want. This technically takes place in the same world, but we're altering things already so go ahead and be who you want.

Gender: F
Age: 16
Race: Fairy
Grade/Job: Junior (11th grade)
How did they get into Vanderfelt Academy?: Good grades and strong magic. She transftered during her 7th grade year. She's on a scholarship since her family can't exactly affort the steep tuition, so she has to keep her grades up or she'll lose it.
Powers/Abilities/Skills: Angel can manipulate the life force of any living thing, either draining it to do damange or increasing it to heal and energize, and she's also slightly telepathich, making her empathize well. She's very booksmart, and has an excellent and photographic memory. While not particularly good at physical combat, she's agile and knows a fair amount of gymnastics.
Clubs/Teams: History Club. She had to choose one extracurricular activity to keep the scholarship.
Background: Born and raised on Klotho, a small planet a good distance away from Spectrum, Angel was raised an only child in a normal family. Her mom owned a bakery, so she knows her way around a kitchen, and her dad was a mechanic, so she's actually pretty knoledgeable about engines and such. She accepted the full-ride scholarship to Vanderfelt Academy because she knew of it's reputation and that after graduationg from there, it would be easy for her to get a very nice job anywhere she wanted.
Physical Appearance: Tall and lean with platinum blond hair that is normally pulled into a loose ponytail that hangs in front of her shoulder. She's rather pale and has gold eyes.
Normal clothes: A pair of light blue jeans with sky blue hightops, and a light yellow shirt with short puffy sleeves. She also normally wears light yellow lace half-gloves and a thin gold choker.
Winx clothes: A tight, light yellow bodice with puffy, long, sky blue sleeves made of a sheer material, a sky blue miniskirt with a gold chain around it (which can be used as a weapon like a whip), and loose sky blue knee-high boots. Her wings are white and sort of resemble angel wings.
Other? Always kind and polite, Angel doesn't want to hurt anyone if she can help it. Which is a good thing, because not even she knows what will happen if she totally drains the life out of somebody...

Name: Madame Vanderfelt. Nobody seems to know her first name.
Gender: F
Age: Ancient. Seriously. Too old for anybody else to know for sure.
Race: Human. That's how it looks, anyway.
Grade/Job: Headmistress of Vanderfelt Academy (she's the grand-daughter of the founder)
Clubs/Teams: Nothing specific, but she's well-informed about all of them
Powers/Abilities/Skills: For the most part, she looks too old and frail to do much of anything. But some people claim they've seen her wield some scary-strong magic.
Background: Born to the obscenely rich Vanderfelt family, she took over the school after the death of her father, who had taken over after the dead of his father.
Physical Appearance: Rarely seen out from behind her office desk, Madame Vanderfelt appears to be a very old, wrinkled woman who was at one time beautiful. Her hair is silver and long, but she wears it in a bun piled on top of her head. She normally wears robes of silk or velvet in jewel tones, and she wears small pair of gold specticles on the end of her nose. Her eyes are a bright light green.
Other? She is always seen with a fluffy white cat, Vanya, who everyone assumes is as old as she is because she's never been seen with her. Vanya likes to prowl the halls and mewl at the students that pass her by, and adores attention. Both old ladies seem to be a little off their rocker at times, but some people think they're both mor than they seem.

Powers/Abilities/Skills: controls water molecules, therefore he can make ice by slowing the molecules and make steam by speeding up the movement. he can on some occations even stop it to create absolute zero, an amazingly powerfull thing(i dont feel like explaining it lol, if your worried about it look it up lol)
Background: grew up fighting, he was born in the era of war on his planet, that is why he sports a rather large scar across his left eye and down half of his face. he got it in his last battle, if he hadent fought that battle and or gotten that scar he would have come out of it un touched but he faced a mase of weapons and just wasentfast enough yet, and he hadent mastered his skills at the time. he got the job because he knows the head mystress.
Physical Appearance: obviously he is tall with pointed ears and a scar across his face and left eye, he wears basic clothes and light armor, he never knows when some one will attack him, he mainly is just paranoid about it but he is always ready to fight, if need be.

How did they get into Vanderfelt Academy?: Mostly through finances as well as high marks in math and technology.

Clubs/Teams: None to say specifically for now. If one pops up that piques her interest, I'll be surprised...

Powers/Abilities/Skills:

Note: Unlike her parents, she doesn't do a whole lot of fighting, so her capabilities aren't reach all that often; they simply exist as her limits.

Strength limit: 2,000 lbs.

Speed limit: 2.0 sgs.

Powers: Unlimited energy absorption and redirection. Creation and control of fire and darkness elements. Her arms can also shapeshift into various forms of weaponry.

Background: Alexis is the result of impossibility. She's the daughter of Nightstorm and Solara 2.0, and holds characteristic powers from both of her parents. However, more or less, she is actually more like the physical, human form of Nightstorm's symbiote than anything else, as its DNA is also in her genes. Its alien/demon background is visible with Alexis, as her eyes are the dead giveaway. Despite her looks, though, she successfully avoided the life her parents had lived through - one of ridicule and hatred. Instead, she was slowly accepted through life, and she's made quite a few friends over the years. While Nightstorm and Solara have gone off to other systems, Nightstorm left his empire under Alex's command, though instead of planning to use it for global destruction, she plans on using her father's resources to help humanity only when necessary.

Powers/Abilities/Skills: Shape shifting which is a ability that comes with her race she can shape shift into any one and can copy any of their physical abilities like claws wings ect she can only transform into someone she has seen and a dove, mystere also has the power to control wind but is also able to teleport and create shields
Background: being a shape shifter mystere was shunned by most schools so mysteres parents told her to change her identity and not let anyone know of her shape shifting abilities so she be gain to travel from town to town searching for someone whose appearance she could safely take and this was when she met a young girl who had been in an orphanage and didn’t have any memories and came to be called mystere which what she actually was a mystery so upon getting to know mystere Eliana (mystere) memorised her appearance then left in the dead of the night leaving Eliana black behind and becoming mystere

Powers/Abilities/Skills: Manipulation of light she can create and she can take light, is able to create fire and general spells (i.e. shields energy balls, teleportation ect), has super strength and speed as she has bionic arms and legs, due to having a bionic ear she can hear things that normal people would be unable to, and her right eye acts as a computer at times analysing things and allows her to at times see in partial x-ray vision

Background: : Kaori is a shadow ninja however she isn’t fully human when she was 18 she was almost killed in a fight and was in a coma for about a three months none of the doctors believed she’d survive until the queen requested that they perform a experimental medical procedure on her in which the queen believed would save Kaori so they replaced (yep going kinda bionic woman her) her left arm with a bionic arm and both her legs with bionic legs they also had to replace some of her vital organs with bionics almost making Kaori immortal well in a way she would never grow old she will always appear 18, when she found out about the bionics she freaked out and ran away coming to a forest where she teleported not knowing where she would go and she reappeared in the forest in magix where she’d been up until she decided to attend this school

Background: Ella has kind of a split personality so she can be really sweet one second and totally mean the next, she can change her appearance but its actually an illusion, she has a garnet pendent which turns into her staff. Ella comes from the red moon where she had to leave when she was accused of murder however even though she was cleared of the charge she refused to go back so she went to live on the pink moon with her aunt and cousin although she was unable to control her anger so her aunt sent her away to school. Ella is a very loyal friend and always will be unless someone really pisses her off.

Grade/Job: 9th/Freshman
How did they get into Vanderfelt Academy?: Kyle is considered a genius and had extremely high grades. Plus, his family is wealthy.
Clubs/Teams: None yet. Possibly the History Club.
Powers/Abilities/Skills: A word to describe his powers is sound. But in detail, he is able to control the mind that controls hearing or high frequency sounds. He is able to deceive people by blocking out certain sounds or creating them. But he has to come into physical contact to control another's mind individually. Other than that, he is able to emit different voices or sounds.
Background: Kyle comes from a wealthy background and his future is to take over the family business even though he doesn't have that much interest in it probably because his relationship isn't that great with his father. He sees his father as a materialistic machine partly because his father always never spent time with him since he was young. He often is not depicted as a genius at first glance. Most people see him as easy going and calm guy with arrogance. One of his bad habits is to actually provoke certain people. He doesn't really care that much about dating and everything and may even be a bit of a narcissist at times.
Physical Appearance: He has dark brown hair that looks more like black in most cases. His eyes are gray. Standing at 5'10, he has a normal built. He isn't extremely athletic but not scrawny enough so none of his muscles are visible. He often just wear a plain t-shirt with black jean pants. At some times, he dons his glasses.
Other? Since academics come easy to him, he often finds himself looking for other knowledge. He doesn't play many sports but he does play tennis now and then. He isn't really interested in the world of TV other than news or politics.

Race: A new indomitable race called Gll. [Pronounced 'Gaul']
Grade/Job: Junior (11th grade)
How did they get into Vanderfelt Academy?: His wisdom entrusted him through the ranks of the previous grades, as he enrolled into the Academy when he was young. He also has a good use of his own magic. He's on the full tuition fee.
Clubs/Teams: He made his own club, the Gll Club, led by himself and a student in the higher grade, Vitalsatystx.
Powers/Abilities/Skills: He gets both superhuman strength, the magic of wind and antihistamines for his hayfever from a magic drink he takes brewed by his father, Getafx.
Background: A parody of the Asterix franchise and its own character, Astryx is a shrewd, cunning little warrior; all perilous homework are immediately entrusted to him. His best friend is Oblyx, and his favourite food is wild boar-flavoured crisps. He always turns to the periodicals he features in, "Astryx the Gll", when he needs advice. Some say that the wings on his hat are cute, while others are confused at his localized accent and jokes.
Physical Appearance: He is shrewd and cunning, and is dressed in pseudo-Gaulish clothes. He has a button-like nose and a cheery grin.
Other? He often cries out "By Laylazilla!", "By Stellazilla!", "By Musazilla", "By Tecnazilla" and "By Bloomzilla" as epithets, often added at the end of his sentences when he feels like it. They seem to be Gllish goddesses, and whether they are related to the Winx Club remains unknown.
