Also Darcy and Stormy aren't too crazy about him. Icy only seems attracted to him but not falling for him. Tritannus on the other hand seems to really care for Icy. I see this going two ways. Icy will either actually fall in love with him or break his heart causing him to go insane.

I don't know, if she's manipulating him this soon in then I would be impressed, but their emotions usually seem to be more explicit (like Mitzy asking Bloom for help in Hallowinx, it was fairly obvious that she was pretending). Also, Icy rarely would take the backseat in fighting the Winx, she usually wants to be the one attacking them personally. It just seemed out of character to me :S

Progress, maybe? I mean, we can discuss the quality Season 4, but it did show a desire to improve, smash the status quo and explore some (For Winx, anyway) deep concepts like revenge.

I thought it was neat how Icy did that. I felt like it was just something different and showed she didn't really care to use up all her powers (that she just got back so who knows how strong she is anyways) against the winx.

I noticed it too when it aired. I don't think it was riven either because I think they are at different locations on the beach. Still funny that they used the same outfit and hair though. Probably like what Guardian said though, just a throwback for old fans.

That's pretty funny, I've noticed that happening alot in cartoons (just yesterday I was watching an episode of Arthur cause its still the bomb, and Francine was shown sitting down in a split second shot of the audience when she was actually on stage performing). Maybe its easier because they already have the basic sketches of familiar characters or something? So its easier than drawing a completely new person? =S

I just think they're too lazy to come up with new characters, rather than it being a nod to older fans. Did Nick not re-do all the seasons in specials? Granted I didn't watch them, but I can only assume Riven was wearing that in earlier seasons. Winx has had many, many mistakes like this over the seasons, and I doubt quite highly this is any different.
