according to Michael's Winx Club, imdb and Molly Quinn both confirm that the new transformation will be called Sirenix.

Yep. Kinda feel strange that Sirena is an Italian word for Mermaid. I felt like they already used it for the comics as the Winx were Mermaids. =) But I like it, but their transformation form looks different than their actual Mermaid form. ^^" It would be nice for a different name instead of the same confusion we seen them as Mermaids. ^^"

Isn't the whole idea of winx being fairies? I reaaally don't understand....I love mermaids....but this just makes mermaid magic look less unique to me. It lets mermaids down. Ah well I'm sure I'll love it once its out.

Of course Winx are fairies. =) Their wings are always with them.
I understand. I guess they were a bit following the Pearle Mermaid Book of Winx using their Season 1 wings. ^_^ Or probably got a bit followed with the Season 3 Mermaids in Layla's/Aisha's home world. =D

I feel like it's another way around the "Enchantix is the most powerful fairy form" rule. maybe if the girls get mermaid powers they can surpass enchantix powers. isn't Believix supposed to be equivalant to Enchantix, since Enchantix isn't that powerful in a non-magical world? maybe Sirenix will make them even more powerful.

Are they supposed to still be in school in this season? I'm just wondering. I honestly don't like the constant new powers and whatnot, I sometimes miss the original outfits from season one or even enchantix from season three. I suppose it keeps the show interesting for kids and everything, but I guess I think it would be cool for there to be like a final stage where there isn't some major upgrade possible anymore.

The Winx graduated from Alfea in the first movie. they've only returned to either teach or to attend a social event. they'll probably still be running Love & Pet.

on a web site it said......■The name "Sirenix" has been featured on the Internet Movie Database[1] and Molly C. Quinn, who voices Bloom for the Nickelodeon dub, has confirmed on her Facebook page that the name of this transformation is "Sirenix", but so long as Rainbow S.r.l does not prove this to be either true or false this information remains doubtful due to lack of official confirmation.
