Yeah, a friendly forum does help, but you need at least one or two good real life friends too. That or some siblings who are really close to you. Are you attending a college or university where you might make some good friends? Or maybe if you find a part time/full time job at a place you like to work at you'll find some nice people to talk to.

I was born with a neurological disorder called Asperger's synrome , im almost normal but social situations are really hard for me. I cant even get a job with my problems. I have some friends but no close friends. I sometimes get depressed being alone. if you want to know what asperger's syndrome is, there's info about it on wikipedia.

I kind of have the same thing (I ran several diagnostic tests for it, and all came with different results. The only thing I know is that there's something messing up my social abilities.), so I kind of know how it feels. (Kind of....)

I did read up on it a while ago Tom, and I hope there are ways you can suppress it. Same with you P-girl, though you're pretty socially-gifted on the forums, so that's hopeful =).
Were you thinking about getting a job Tom? I know you wouldn't want to work as a clerk or in a restaurant, but I know there are other jobs that don't require you to be too social. Maybe you could find a business where they have you do computer work. And even if you still have to talk with your boss, he or she would have to understand your situation and work with you on it. There are usually businesses that do not discriminate against social handicaps, and I think that's actually illegal in some practices (at least here in the US). I hope you can find something though =).

they are just like me and have similiar problems. Im so glad im not the only one!
