Ah well, they at least have the return of my favorite gimmick in the first movie:



Skater-feet! And seeing this guy's an Autobot (And actually has an official promotional render, he probably lasts longer then two minutes. (Grumbles some more about Bonecrusher's sadly short scene.) That guy was awesome, dammit!

That is the only transformers seiries I've ever watched. Watched the first 10 mins of Animated episode 1 and I said "**** this, their chins are too big and they look like rubber people, not bots"

I also watched the G1 movie..

To bad, Animated is well plotted, and cranks up the maturity and development in character after the (Good but fairly kiddy) Season 1. Season 3 takes it up to eleven and starts off with a pretty harrowing On-screen death..... (Poor, poor Blurr.....) and don't get me started on the Wasp-storyline..... betrayal, insanity......

Well, animation is one big part in the enjoyment of the show. I'm used to Prime being the leader, the older one, the wisest and experienced. Not beeing a plastic toy that was sitting out in the hot sun for a few hours, and teenaged...

That, and I'm used to Garry Chalk as prime and David Kaye as Megatron..

In the first episode of Cybertron, Kaye wasn't the voice for Megatron, and I was torn up on the inside thinking that it would of sucked >.>

But yeah. Not really interested in the seiries without those two

*Shrugs* To each his own.

I rather liked the new direction they headed in both animation and storytelling. Optimus Prime just got younger in age and Rank, he's still a great leader. And Megatron gets Sca-ry. And actually kills Starscream for betraying him. (Of course, Starscream gets immortal thanks to the All-Spark, resulting in the aptly-named 'Starscream Death Montage') I think you'd like it if you gave it more then a few episodes.

Ah well.

Starscream has practically died in every seiries.

The movie he gets beheaded by Galvatron
Armada, Unicron nuked him...
Energon, he came back to life as a ghost..
Cybertron, he stole Primus's spark and then Primus threw him into a black hole, right after he blasted him..

Yeah, I know it's a theme, but in G1, Megatron kept him around for some reason, even if he declared himself leader of the Decepticons every time Megatron even got the least injured.... It's good to see he has learned.
