Maybe it's just because I'm used to the 4kids, but when I watched a few Rai clips, it was hard for me to tell their voices apart, so sometimes I got confused as to who was talking.

I definitely understand the problems with finding differences in the Rai voices. It took me watching the first four or so episodes to find distinctions in their voices. After I did I didn't mind the voices too much, but I still prefer the 4kids voice actor all the way.

Yeah I totally know what you mean about the voice differences. When I was watching the Winx Club Movie in Italian with English subs, sometimes, I couldn't figure out who was saying what to save my life.

Thats because you aren't used to the language, or the voices. Yes, they all sound the same, but eventualy you figure out who says what

I think it suits her mature personality versus the husky voice she has in the Rai english version. I wouldn't say I don't like her voice in the Italian original, though. It suits her pretty well also, in my opinion.

I agree about the Rai english version: Many of the voices sounds so similar. O_O I personally have a problem with the voices used for the Trix... they sound way too tween-girl snobby versus women with cruel intentions (as they were portrayed to be).

cool i just started to watch huntik recently it's a awesome show.
when i started watching Winx I didn't really like tecna's 4kids voice at first but got used to it after a few episodes.

I think the 4Kids version works better as a whole (my one discrepancy really is the god damn editing (mind you season 3 was pretty true to the RAI version))

There's something more polished about the 4Kids version, the audio quality is much better and there aren't as many silences (did anyone else notice that in the RAI version)

In regards to the voice actors, 4Kids ftw. I think they'd be stupid not to pick it up again, throwing away a crap load of money is what they'd be doing by not dubbing the 4th season. Is it just me or is Winx the most popular cartoon for girls in the world at this current point in time?

I don't have a doubt in my mind that America won't see season 4. It just seems too big to pass up, even if it isn't 4Kids that dubs it. Someone will.

This is why we need a sub of the orginal Italian version. There wouldn't be any edits or cuts and the voice acting is quite good. Aftering working on some subbing I can say that the Rai English isn't 100% translation from the Italian language.

Nothing can't be 100%. Language is feeling. They don't mean the literal things. Except english some of the time. If all languages had a direct translation, there would be one language; which ever language is the defination of another.
