Ever since Roxy arrived on stage (Or in magazine scans), she's been met with weariness, distrust and even accusations that can't be backed up, such as Sue-ness, screen-time hogging and looking to much like Tecna based on hair-color alone. I think this is sad, because we didn't even get a chance to know her as a character, and she, like the Team's undertitle says, at least deserves a chance.
I hereby open the Roxy Protection League, vouching for cutting the girl some slack, and for being open-minded and welcoming to change, not closed-up and weary.
Everyone who shares this taught is welcome to join.

Thanks for your support, everyone. QUOTE (MorriganAensland @ Mar 6 2009, 12:31 AM) You'd be surprised.
There are plenty of instances where the audience's opinion of a character determines what happens to them. In Code Geass, minor villain Jeremiah Gottwald was supposed to die in episode 10, but people took such a liking to him that the writers decided to spare him. He got some serious character development as a result and ended up surviving the whole series, joining up with the hero at the midpoint of season 2 and getting to live quietly for the rest of his life with a woman he loved.
Compare that with Katz Kobayashi from Zeta Gundam, who fans hated profusely and ended up dying due to sheer incompetence near the end of his series. Don't forget Waspy! Beast Machine's lovable chew toy has been kept from dying for real by his large fanbase. (Me included) And don't forget Ironhide wouldn't be in the line-up for the Live-Action Movie if it wasn't for the fans, and a lot of sequel appearances sound like fanbased decisions as well. (Especially Soundwave) Even Winx isn't immune. Who's Believix we got to see first? Bloom's, Flora's and Stella's, the target audience's favorites. Not to mention Flora took centre stage in their fashion presentation, most likely due to this reason.
