Ogron stole the life spell and dropped it on a flower.
Layla is keeping the flower because it would of been Nabu's life.

I LOVED how Ogron said "Oops!" When he dropped it on a flower

Woah! Ogron said oops!? Wow. That just gained him some major "Dude, your an awesome villain!" points.

I kind of admire Rainbow for killing someone. Don't get me wrong, I loved Nabu. But seriously, Rainbow proved they had the guts to do what not many age-like-4-to-8-target-audience shows do.

Technically, Ogron didn't, either. He just prevented a ressurection. That's like saying Valtor (almost) killed Tecna by opening the Omega Portal.

I still think it doesn't count. True, it was one of the evillest things ever done on Winx, but technically, not murder. Just taking away that little ray of hope from a distraught group.

Winx isn't anime. It's Italian, therefore European. European standard is 26 episodes per season. There are exceptions, but those are few and far in between.

Let's look at the bright side: if it had more episodes, there would be longer breaks between seasons, and this way we get to see more transformations, and more new villains (not that it's necessary a good thing, but hey).

But, like I said, comas can be permanent. And unlike being trapped in a magical dimension, comas are not something you can save someone from. Unless with some real powerful magic. Like the one Ogron wasted.

Wow... Great continuity there. o_O I do hope they have an explanation for that in the movie (flashback, possibly?)... Confusion!

Not that I'm complaining about him being back, as Nabu is a fine character, in my opinion, but... they can't just undo something they've done. :/ (Like I said, they would definitely need an explanation for it.)

Well, maybe they revived him during the movie, and that you can see him here after his revival.
Or this movie is a continuation of movie 1 and that it was produced before season 4.

It's fairly obvious that they make these movies alongside a season.

Also, isn't it a bit too early to start crying foul? At least wait until someone actually saw it and can confirm the excistance/lack of plotholes.

I was simply saying that I am hoping for an explanation - I have no idea and did not infer that I had any idea as to whether or not it is a plothole. I was expressing my concerns if it is indeed a plothole (and just expressing concern about it in general). :/

It's one thing that one of my favorite characters died at the very end, but it really burns me up that the last gift of destiny was so - . . . .blink and you missed it. Some of the scenes in this series are just so poorly written like that! Overall it just leaves a very bad taste in my mouth for this season. The ending was extremely bitter sweet and it toys with my emotions how they can go from dramatically killing off a lovable character who had the most SINCERE relationship with Layla and then next they cut to scenes of bubbly Love and Pet and the Bubble Gum atmosphere of the Fruity Music Bar. It will be hard for me to wait for the next season as I try to reconcile these feelings. . .

I haven't seen all of season four yet, but I looked through a comic in the winx mag I bought when I was in Turkey, and they mentioned his death.. For me, it went kinda like this: Haha awesome magazine! Wait... Whaa?? *rereads* ... but... but.. Grrrrrrr
