Posted by: winxclubrox23 Nov 1 2009, 3:41 AM

So I'm currently reading Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr. I think it's absolutely amazing. So far, I think Donia's my personal fave. XD

I do believe there's several others. Ink Exchange and Fragile Eternity. I'm yet to read them, but I'd like to.

Read 'em all and love them. Melissa's an amazing author, truly. I love the idea and the characters.
Donia's awesome I agree. I also like Seth more than Keenan...for the most part, I do feel for Keenan though. I really like Ash as well.
If you've read Fragile Eternity you know its really about to get interesting. XD

I JUST got my Fragile Eternity copy yesterday! So, I'm stoked to read it.

Never heard of it, but I'm always looking for cool reads O: Could you summarize?

Posted by: winxclubrox23 Dec 29 2009, 3:56 AM

Surely!

Aislinn is this normal girl, except for the fact she can see fairies. All the females in her family can. So her entire life, she's been living with this, they generally leave her alone, and she leaves them alone. Then one day, this über sexy guy comes up to her really randomly, and she realizes he's actually the King of the Summer Court. She tries to ignore him, but he starts stalking her along with this one other fairy, the Winter Girl, Donia. Aislinn gets pretty annoyed, but still they won't leave her alone. Finally, she finds out that Keenan (Summer King) thinks she's the long lost Summer Queen. And he wants to take away her mortality, so that she can become the Summer Queen, and help defeat his mother, the Winter Queen.

Haha, I really suck at summaries. It's an amazing book, kinda dark, but amazing.

It's um...not really a place for children under like, 13 Toriford.

xD I read Wicked didn't I? And lets face it, its not really a book for children under 13.

I've heard of this and it sounds great! I might buy it to read when I go to Sydney.

@Tori, really Wicked isn't a book for Young Adult at all. Some of the stuff that goes on is 13+, but the politcal and relgious undertones are there too and some of can't be fully understood until you get into the real world. Or so says my mother.

Tori, you didn't read Wicked! You read Wicked Lovely. Which, come to think of it is a really mature book too. Considering it drops the F-bomb thrice....
