The Sniper's Diary, i dont think it's common in here, but it's my artwork... Options

I like writing stories about second world war. Not the history part, but about fate of the people of that time. It's important for me, 2 my grandpas died in there for nothing.
This story is about the sniper named Nikolay Sorokin, one of the lots, who have been send to guard the country borders from the unexpected invasion and enemy plane-fighters . Much of them did nothing there. Some died from hunger, some even got crazy... I know, that kind of writing is not common in here, but i couldn't stand of not trying. Just check out the first day of the diary and say if i should write futhermore.

"2 February, year 1942"
So, it came to this moment. I thought i would never live to that, but i did. Who am i? Just a sniper, a simple soldier, flying towards his destiny, or should i say- to nowhere. I remember the 22 june of the year 1941 like it was yeasterday. My dad woke me up in terror and cried about the german invasion. I was 19 years then so i was old enough to understand the situation, but belive, i'd like to be 6 years old in this moment, because i knew what was comming to each and every man in the country.
Nearly a year passed after that moment, a year of unstopable training, and what now? I'm in the plane flying to the country border. I dont even know where exactly! Howewer, i can see a forest under the plane that is now getting lower. My best friend from the childhood with me now. He was luckyer than me, just like the whole my life. He is the pilot of that plane, howewer he doesn't tell me where are we going, he is very serious about orders.
After half of hour, the plane got down finally. I was taken to a big rock inside the forest. All i have with me now is sniper gun with 20 bullets, some kind of a food, portable radio set, box with first aid and my diary with a feather and approximately 100 gr. of ink. My friend sayd that new pack of provision will be delivered to me in 4-5 days. Oh, and the main thing, i'm bound to that rock with chains! Do i need it? I have no way to go anyways...

This has some appeal. It's mundane and much more character-driven than plot-driven. And I'm a sucker for those kinds of stories.

What I meant was this is not a story that's going to have a lot of plot; it's going to be about this soldier on his own, writing about things and possibly interacting with people.

If a story's plot-driven, there's something that needs to be accomplished, like a quest or something. Star Wars and nearly all other action movies are plot-driven.
If a story's character-driven, then there's not going to be much of a plot other than how people talk with each other and how we find out about them. Waiting for Godot, Frost/Nixon, and the greater part of Sailor Nothing are all character-driven stories.

Character-driven stories often end up fleshing out the various individuals in the story much more thoroughly, which is why I enjoy them so much.

I spend a night in that terrible place, yes- "spend". I slep not much more than an hour. I have no matches and no wood to make a fire. But the night is over, at last. I thought i heard some wild animals near by, ohhh, scary. What should i do now? How to spend next 5 days withought anything?
Ok, at first i'll try to recognise the place. There are no signs of life here, i mean, peaceable life. At least i'm at the top of a big rock, not much animals can get up here, but who know's what leaves here...

Hmm, could svear i saw a smoke, that suppose to mean that someone in here.
I've shouted, no answer. Shouted again, no answer again. Maybe it just seemd...

Evening is comming, i should do something with my sleep place, but not today, it's too late for that.
The stars could be a bit interesting, and, a kind of relaxing, i think, i haven't ever noticed it in the city, i had rarely seen such a sky, and not for long...

grammatical errors means you spelled something wrong or used the wrong word. oh and also there is no 14:00 am or 15:00 am either, 14:00=2pm 15:00=3pm i dont know if you knew that but its good information to have. other than that i enjoyed it, keep going

Again i woke up with a terrible cold. Why? Why it is winter? Well, at least it's not so cold at day time. I have warm clothes with me, but it's not enough. I'll try to do something later.

Now i'm really frightened, i've just saw a wolf! At first my face nearly became white because of fear, when i saw him comming out of the forest, but than i noticed that he was looking a kind of ill. He was moving very slowly, so uncommon for a wolf. But than, i saw that his back right paw was broken. Fortunatly, he couldn't attack me in that condition. After a minute he falled on the groud because of weariness.

Wolf woke up, wondering around but he didnt go away, like he just couldnt. Interesting, why? I dont know, but i think it somehow related
with his broken paw.
His fur woul be good for me in place like that. I can shoot him right now, but no, i'll wait untill he gets closer.
~10.00 PM
The night is comming, wolf is already sleeping. It would be difficult, but i should try to sleep even for a few hours in that cold, i'm so tired. Bones cant stand anymore, i'm sitting on one place for hours...

he should befrend the wolf! lol, have you tried typing your entries on a microsoft word document before posting it up here? it would really help with the gramatical mistakes. but i can hardly wait for the next entry
