Sarah commented "i hope Eliza feels better soon"

Abigail just shrugged, "well the conference"

"Then I stand by it; it can't be that bad." Alexander said.
"Easy to say, for someone who never actually attended it." Matthew said, also entering.
"Oh for the love of.... Please Dad, not now." Alexander said, pinching the bridge of his nose.

Sidney finally made his way to the bathroom and used it, it wanted to party and forget about his problems. he just hoped they wouldn't have resurfaced anytime soon.

Lillian frowned. "Oh dear," she said. "Well, send her my regards."

Gladys glanced at Joey. What was her mom's problem? Sure, she was always hard on him, but that last comment had gone above and beyond. "Mom," she said. "What was that about?"

"Mm, I'm busy Gladys. One minute." Lillian replied.

"No, not one minute," Gladys said, crossing her arms. "What was that about?"

Joey bit his lip and glanced at Gladys. He had always gotten along with her but defending him so blatantly against their mom took him somewhat by surprise. He considered intervening but decided to play it out and see what his mom says first, and he would be ready to defend Gladys if she went on the offense.

"What was what?" Lillian asked.

"That," Gladys replied. "You always treating Joey like a freaking dog. Why? He never did anything to you."

"Gladys dear," Lillian said, putting on a fake smile, and glancing around, seeing if any of this was causing a scene. "I don't know what your talking about?"

"Yes you do!" Gladys retorted. "You totally do, and now your turning red because you know it's true."

"Gladys," Lillian hissed, a fake smile still plastered on her face. "Your causing a scene."

Gladys was getting herself into trouble over him and Joey wouldnt have it. He stepped in. "Gladys, its okay. Really," he put his arm around her and after giving his mom a glare walked Gladys and him a few feet away.

"No Joey," Gladys said, shrugging him off. "Your my little brother, I have to take care of you. You shouldn't have to take that from her. If I don't call her out on it, then nobody will."

((They all just entered the mansion and most people are greeting each other))

"Its fine," said Joey. "I dont want you to get in trouble over it. I can handle her."

"Oh please. Like she'll actually punish me," Gladys replied. "For now, we'll just leave it. But if she says one more thing to you, I swear, I take care of it."

Alphonse sighed "This is boring..." he spoke as sat down on the ground to lazy to go to a chair.

Safia looked over to alphonse and gave him a dirty look. She looked up and down her outfit she needed a new style. She ran her hands throughout her hair. "Lalalala," she was amazingly bored there was nothing to do, "Is there a piano here? or no?" she asked she was in the mood for singing and palying the piano.

Joey nodded grimly. There was no stopping his sister once she had her mind set one something. "Okay, we'll see how it goes."

Terrific. Within seconds of entering the building, some of the family members were already fighting. Caden sadly shook his head as he recalled a few of the past times where some of the Eginhards had come over to this mansion - each time had been just like this: fortified with a sour atmosphere and deepened in inflated egos that it was practically impossible to breathe correctly...

Alexander just sighed, distancing himself from his father.
"Let's just... try and make the best of it, okay?" He attempted for one last time.

"Yeah like I sai whatever" alphonse spoke sighing.

Alexander just sighed. Here he was, expecting at least some effort to make this occasion a nice one. But apperantly, he was the only one hoping for that....

"Yes, there is a piano in the music room." Antionette said to Safia as she walked towards the group.

"Also, dinner will begin shortly." Walter said.

"Good to hear, thanks, Walter." Alexander said. "May I join you, Safia?"
