This is just an idea,
But i think like each week, a member could be spot lighted and have their name changed to a certain color. And we could make a new section in the forum dedicated for the member of the week. We could have some Q&A sessions where the person who is Member of the Week would get asked questions from the community so we can better know that person.

I love this idea (as long as it doesn't involve personal quesions)! But just wondering how would we choose what member, do you think we should take a certain number of nominations and then privately vote forthe one we want to vote for so we don't hurt any feelings?

Sounds like a pretty good idea to me, but how would the member of the week be decided? =O

idk if this is possible, but if we could do some type of thing where we enter names and then it generators a name for us. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be that difficult to find a way to pick somebody.
The MOTW, Member of the Week, could choose not to answer the question if they feel its to personal.

As its not an award, what could be done is we could look at the list of members in alphabetical order and choose the first person who was active in for example 3 days from the date you are searching from

I like the idea, but is a week long enough? I mean, we may end up repeating people pretty soon. I thought maybe Member of the Month would be better, but idk... I still think it's a good idea. =)

I guess month would be better... Question, is every member on the site get a chance or just the 21 people who make at least one post per week (some members only sign in once a month 0.o)
