Martin looked up slightly surprised he had always heard that Devlin was a myth

This made Alexander spit his drink, and for some weird, akward reason, it landed in Matthew's face.
"Surprised as well, I gather?" Matthew deadpanned, not changing his expression as he took a napkin and started cleaning his face.

Alphonse looked up as he had a sudden outburst "HA! I told you all you all didn't beleive me! Devlin is here he is a person!" he shouted.

Safias eyes tood wide open

"Forgive the lack of faith, but I'll only believe it if I see this man in person." Matthew said. "And even so, who says it's not some imposter?"

"That is not for me to say." Walter said. "However, this person does go by the name Devlin, and he is Eliza's special guest."

Elsewhere, in Devlin's room. "Are you angry that I was just using you and Joey as a means to entertain myself."

"Not at all." Antionette answered. "Because of you we got a chance to become closer."

"But it might fall apart soon." Devlin said. "I think it's more fun to watch couples break up than get together."

"That is how I will fight you." Antionette explained. "We'll continue on our own without your help, and we won't break up because of your whims."

Devlin smiled an evil smile. "Interesting. It will be more fun to watch you struggle. That will be all, you may leave now."

Antionette bowed, and left the room.

Alphonse looked over to mathew ".....Ugh" he said as Alphonse got up and stomped toward the door and out

Abigail ate quietly listening in on the conversation.

William had come downstairs "There is no body else that i know of in this house"

"Learn to control your children." Matthew simply said as Alphonse left.

Safia sighed "There is nothing wrong with the children in this faimly. Alphonse is just a little upset that noone beleived him. I don't care how much older you are than us you need to understand that we are very matture for our age and you don't always get to speak above us and act as if we are not that important or our dreams and wishes are not important either. Because everyone has a hope and a wish including you, you are no different than us. And noone can control another person it is in-human if it was possible" Safia stampered in a calming tone towards Matthew

"I just said his reaction was out of line." Matthew sighed, holding his head. "Stomping off just because I'm skeptic about a certain fact that certainly sounds unbelievable enough for certain people to do spit takes?" He raised an eyebrow as Alexander started to grin apologetically.

"Children will be children, Uncle Matthew," Caden pointed out while relaxing in his seat, letting the first course digest for a bit. "They'll misbehave at an early age no matter the amount of discipline that's brought upon 'em." He let a small grin creep across his face. "Give him some time; I'm sure sooner or later he'll learn."

Safia looked over "The only reason children will misbehave is because you" Safia pointed he finger Mathew and Caden "Parents teach us to act that way By the way you act. Yes you may not notice it but it is not our fault"

"Yet, my son behaves in a proper manner." Matthew said. "Which, by your logic, means I am in fact, a good parent."

"Yes very much so but.... what was he like as a child?" safia asked smiling

"He wouldn't know." Alexander simply said. "My mother raised me, after that, my grandparents." He looked down. "Can we please.... stop this? This is a family diner, we shouldn't act like this around each other."

Safia sighed she started to feel dizzy as she sat down in her chair.
