I was downloading the game 4 days,lol,and today I installed it) It is awesome!!!
I hate the swamp lever yuck!! >.<!!

So please help me!

I am in cloudtower now. Okay,I've entered the room,and Stella opened the portal there . NEXT. Griffin alredy knows that win are in Cloudtower so she tries to stop them.. So there rae these rock guys with their kinda things in thir hands. Lightning comes from them! I tried to kill them but no effect! Please! I really need ur help!!!! ;(

Lol, what a coincidence. I just downloaded the game not two days ago! But...I haven't had time to get any farther than finding the scissors for Looma.

For those looking for the game it is currently being seeded on torrents, so just do a "torrent" search for the game and it should pop up in a google search. If not try *cough cough* mini *cough* nova *cough hack hack phlegm* =P. Ignore the PSP and game boy listings that pop up, and the game file is about 2.37 gigs.

One thing that ticks me off about the design is the game physics. I kept falling through the walls in the beginning park scenes. Then I'd fall all the way to the bottom and have to do that terrible jumping game again. Arghhh.

When it downloads open the sg-winx.rar Extract the file sg-winx.iso and when It's in a folder with other game files just put that iso file in daemon tools. When the game is installed, open sg-winx.iso folder then open Crack folder and click on the game. That's all u need.

Yep, it is free, but you will need another program to run the iso files...and on top of that, you will need to go to alternative website to find the cracked exe file to fake the game into believing that it's a real file--at least, I ended up needing another exe file. All of this because no store sells the game anymore, sheesh.

maybe its not the best quality of downloading?
i dunno, i've never used torrents before

looks like its me to the rescue again.

29 hours is probably the average for how long its going to take to get all the pieces from the other leechers and the seeders. thats why its called Bit Torrent. your downloading bits of the whole from other people, and if there are few people with slower connections than yours it'll take longer.

on to the topic of Mounting and ISO to disc. Humblu do you have a blank CD (or if its larger than 700mb a DVD) and a respective Burner? if so do you have a CD/DVD burning progam that knows how to burn a copy of a ISO to said disc? I can find a tutorial for your respective program.

Limewire - a P2P client, works on a singular basis. not an ISO extractor or burning program.
Adobe - Graphics Giant. doesn't deal with the topic.

okay I'm going to use my burning program as an example. I use Nero for burning stuff off my computer and occasionally when I download a game and I have to mount it to disc.

a free disc mounter is Daemon Tools. and by the looks of it you need an Extractor program as well. Like Winrar.

Aww, you shouldn't give up yet Humbu. It is kind of weird to go through so much of a mess just to get a game to work, though unfortunately that's how we have to get around problem of not having a physical disc. Computers are getting smarter, so we have to fool them into believing we really have the game disc. The Daemon Tools everyone is talking about pretends to load the game from a disc (even when you don't really have one). And if you have limewire that should get you through the hardest part--just getting the game downloaded.

If you ever get that far come back and ask what's the next step, and we can tell you the next few steps to get the game going.

i do have limewire and i just finished downloading the game today
when i went to what got downloaded, it was just a bunch oh icons which wouldnt load

Yep, even when you have a fast internet connection it will still take at least a few hours--after all, it's a couple gigs of data, it will take a while to fully copy to your computer.

Glad you got the game downloaded Humbu =). Okay, I'm trying to think back to how I installed it. The files you downloaded, they have a "rar" extension, right?

ex: sg-winx.r00; sg-winx.r01; etc

The game I downloaded was full of files like this. If that is the same torrent you downloaded then I can help you out with extracting all of these files into one file that you can burn onto a DVD to make a game DVD. But the next question would be do you have WinRar? You just need to be able to double-click the very first file (sg-winx.r00) and that will open through a program that will unzip all of the rar files into one large file. If you're able go ahead and do that and just put the file somewhere you can find it. Let me know what is or isn't working for you, and let me know if you get through this step =).

(For anyone who doesn't have WinRar, there are many places on the web that you can download this. It's a pretty standard program that almost everyone uses, and you can get it from trustworthy places like download.com. You can even uninstall WinRar when you're done installing the game.)

whats a winrar? I dont think i have it because when i double click on the sg-winx.r00, the "windows cannot open the file" thing comes up where u could either manually select a program to open it with or use the web

I think you're right on that. If you're willing you can download and quickly install the WinRar program from download.com (here's the link to its page http://www.download.com/WinRAR/3000-2250_4-10007677.html?tag=lst-1&cdlPid=1074570%38%29 which is a legitimate site too. Should be the file titled "WinRAR 3.71". You'll just be downloading the trial version, but it will still work. And if you know how to uninstall programs it will be a snap to later remove it from your computer if you don't need it.

Yep, the trial version you are downloading is free (thankfully). I think if you try to use it after the trial period of 30 days it may either require or request that you register it to use it anymore.

Ahh, okies. So you're in the folder/location with all of the sg-winx files. Try opening the sg-winx.r00 file now. It should open with WinRar now, and if not, when that other window pops up go to "choose a program" and then open it with the WinRar. You'll just need to do what it asks, pick a folder or location to extract the sg-winx files to, and you should be done. Extracting is pretty much what the word says: just taking the compressed game files out of the sg-winx files. Then the program will put them all together in one file for you.

ok, so i opened it with winrar and then clicked "extrct to". after four munutes it loaded and im not sure what to do next (do i have to extract them all and put them in a folder in winrar cos i think there is already one made?)

As far as I know (and sometimes computers confuse the crud out of me) it should have extracted all of the sg-winx files when you opened "sg-winx.r00". I know that sounds weird since you physically didn't actually open the other 29 files but as long as they are all in the same location it unzips all of the rar files in that folder. *shrug* I need to learn why it knows to do that but for now I'm not even sure.

Now to make sure that it extracted all of the files, right click on the new file WinRar made (the extracted one) and click properties. How many gigs does it say that file is?

Next question: Do you have Nero or some DVD burning software? If so go ahead and open it and look for a place that you can burn ISO files.

Or if you don't want to burn the files onto a DVD, you can open them instead with Daemon Tools (which you'll still need to get).

no offence or anything Zhanneel, i really really appreciate u trying to help me but i think im gonna quit again.
The reasons:
1. when i right click on it, properties isnt even there, so i dont think i did what i said a did properly
2. i have no idea whats going on and no offence but its a bit too much trouble for just a game
3. my parents dont like me downloading stuff on the internet, especially if its just for a game, and i managed to do this much without detection but i dont think i'll be able to do the burning/Daemon thing
4 i feel bad to trouble u so much to help someone u hardly even know

so i think its best if i just quit

No problem, you can always stop anywhere when trying this. Thankfully there isn't a place of no return. But you can keep the files in case you get adventurous and want to try it again in the future (you can back them up as a data DVD and save it, or just leave it in a folder on your computer, or you can delete it all, no big deal). The "right click properties" thing might not be a big deal either. Sometimes some type of files won't let you do that, and this could be one of those cases. Also, if you burn the extracted file onto a DVD (as an ISO DVD, which Nero should let you do) you won't need Daemon Tools at all in any future steps. And I hear you on the parents thing. They may not like you doing things they're not sure is safe.

Don't worry if you thought you were wasting my time--I have time to waste today, I'm just going to work in less than an hour and sometimes I just fiddle around on the computer or forums =P until it's time for me to go. Let me know if ever need help with it in the future though =).

Bleh, work is work =P. At least I'm not sitting at a desk all day though. I actually get to interact with customers which is a lot better than an office job in my opinion =P. Maybe you'll find the game on clearance at a office store one day, lol.

I was going to try this before, but I'm a blunderer when it comes to messing with torrents:

The Winx game that I burned a few weeks back works great, and I was thinking of uploading the exact files needed to burn directly to a DVD. Then I'd upload the installation file, and it might make it easier for people to play the game? However, I'm not even sure if that is all that was needed and making torrents is a headache, especially since I've never successfully made one =(.

I can vouch for the torrent I downloaded (and I'm crazy for looking for anything that messes with my computer). I haven't seen any problems since installing (about a month ago), and no weird programs have launched themselves in my task bar. But I totally understand if someone is still wary of them. If you can still find the original game in stores that's always best. Sadly, I haven't seen them in any Gamestop or other game shop for about 2 years now.

I just downloaed it and its downloading. How long would it take if the computer was left on for the whole time 'cause my dad always leaves the computer on since hes always doing one thing or another.

And before you ask yes I have Nero and yes I have Winrar or whatever that one's called. Had them both for ages, and use Winrar for unzipping HTML layout files for websites (:

I sadly didn't finish the PC game. I got distracted by too much--that and the game mechanics were a little wonky. However, the Gameboy Advance and DS games were fun for casual gamers like myself =).

anyone have trouble that if you go into the [pause menu, you cant use your mouse anymore?

Earlier today it worked, I had the mouse pointer when I toggled the settings now whenever I go in the settings I cant get out

HAHAHA problam solved. I boot up the game with my xbox controler/mouse on, it thinks im playing with joystick. I just turn off my controler and boot and Im fine

Well in Gardeina in the jumping portion, I found many many MANY clipping gliches when you were jumping up a ledge and had the frward button pressed. You went through the wall and fell down :\

yea i played the ps2 version and its full of glithes. One glitch is in the library when you jump on one of the book shefs there, you can walk thru the wall XD lol its weird....
