I found possibly the worst theft I've ever seen:

They stole the current MC banner, as well as most of the banner's from the banner contest. Not only that, they stole heaps of fanart, many of which artists are member's on MC.

I dunno.... there isn't any proof she's using them without credit.... might as well be just a storage medium for her. Like how I use my photobucket account.

i agree with p-girl i do the same thing with my photobucket account like if i'm having issues with my computer any pictures i have saved on my computer i would upload to my photo bucket

Maybe she's saving them. Knowing the contest is over and thinking it would be a waste to see such hard work deleted, she saves it for herself. There's thievery, and then there's paranoia.

she could also be using it for inspiration like what i do when i have to make a banner of signiture i save some other peoples work for inspiration or size

ive seen this type of theft happen, just look out for websites because it could already be in use and you just dont know..

She could get a flashdrive, CD, or even a floppy disc. Generally if I want to keep an image for a later date, I save it to my computer.

She does have a whole folder of fan art and photobucket is just a breeding ground of art theft. The problem with photobucket is that they have no easy way to remove stuff that was stolen. You have to send it via snail mail.

There is a forum, with a 'Theft' topic on Photobucket. Though for some reason you have to register separately from the site, and that's been disabled by the Admin...

There's 3 pieces of my art. They've stolen from me before actually, but it was all removed after I made quite the speech about fanart theft.

Oops, that's what I was trying to say. I'm crap at making things make sense....heh, sorry for confuzzlement.

And, yeah people could be stealing our banners all the while she has them up there. I also have to agree with CaffinatedAngst. She could've saved to her computer. Why photobucket? That seems like theft if she's putting on the internet and it isn't hers.
