Hey everyone, I just feel like I barely know any of the newer members and I miss how all the members used to know each other so well. So I thought I'd post a general re-introduction topic where we can post a bit about ourselves to get to know each other :) I guess we'll start with some basic information?

So I'm known here as Humbu, which is somewhat of an online name for me. I've gotten many nicknames over the years on this site, the most common being Bubu. I'm an 18 year old guy from Canada (wow that's kind of embarrassing to say now, in my defense I was like 11 when I first starting watching Winx =P). My favourite character has always been Brandon, although I'm really liking Roy this season. My favourite members of the Winx Club are Stella, Flora, and Musa, in that order, and my favourite transformation is enchantix :).

I always like these topics. This is a nice idea Humbu, Bubu, the Bu-meister. xD Maybe once everyone introduces themselves we could ask even more questions? Like Round 2, 3, and on, depending upon if enough people want to introduce themselves.

Howdy all, my name is Zhanneel. As much as I wish that moniker were my real name, unfortunately it is not. But I can go by whatever nickname someone wants to give me. "Zhan" is quick to type. Sometimes "Aunt" Zhan is appropriate too, if we're going by age, lol. I can't claim to have ever been in the target age demographic at any point, but I do love animation, cartoons, and Disney movies, so I still qualify. ; )

My favorite season is the first one (4Kids voice actors for the win), but I'm thankful that Nickelodeon picked up the series just to get it back stateside and in North America once again. My favorite character? Do I even need to say it? Well, there's a 95% chance my forum theme is still set to it, so yep, it's Tecna. I like gadgets, gizmos, graphics, creating, crafting-- she epitomizes my creative, learning nature. I also like Flora for her sweet nature. Let's say she has a temperament I'd like to live up to one day, lol. Stella is (well, used to be) very funny, so she has a special place on my list of favorites too. Favorite specialist? Hmm, probably was Nabu... But like Humbu says, I'm really starting to lean toward Roy. He has a good temperament and isn't pushing too hard for Lay--ugh, I mean Aisha. Favorite transformation? I do like Enchantix a lot, but my favorite is the classic (now probably retro) first season outfits. Sparkly spandex, how can you beat that? Ha. I really miss Stella's sun staff!

My username is Yayoi and I love Winx Club, Pokemon, Monster High and the Sims 3. My favourite Winx iare Miss and Layla/Aisha. I'be always liked the name Layla for some reason. My favourite specialist is Helia because he has blue hair, I'm not sure why, I think he's been my favourite since... for a while. I love Enchantix and Lovix and Harmonix. I love the snowy theme and Enchantix looks so mystical and fantasical. Harmonix is so simple yet so pretty. My favourite season would have to be Season 3 it had so many sub plots and it was so interesting

Hey, I'm Ranma. One of the first members of this forum. Unfortunately, work keeps me busy and I haven't been able to post as much. I write a bit in the creative writing section (I will rewrite those chapters and give you guys something new for "Dreamer" eventually, I promise! You'll get the spelling error/proper grammar version of every chapter you deserve!) and I RP quite a bit.

I'm 25 years old, it's been ages since this forum started. I think I was 18 or so when I first joined. Though I don't post much anymore the members here are like family to me. I love them all.

I started my own game design company and that's what's been keeping me busy lately. We hope to release our first game in a couple of months, but we keep running into setbacks with our limited funds. Hmmmm, what else... Flora's my favorite winxclub character... ummmmmmmmmm I like eggs... and drawing... I have some 3d art that I made in the art section somewhere if you want to look that up...

I'm Tea. I'm an 18 year old laaaady from Canada. I started watching Winx Club when I was 9 or 10 and when it was 4kids. Because of this, 4kids remains my favourite dub, though I am thankful that Nick has picked it up and brought it back to North America. My favourite season is without a doubt season 2 and my favourite character is Riven. I'm also fond of Musa, Stella, Tecna, Timmy, Brandon and Stormy in no particular order.

I fancy myself to be something of an artist and hope to go to school for that next year, but for now I work in a bookstore. I also dapple in writing. I used to RP here in my earlier years, but have since branched out into other things. Apart from Winx, my interests include musicals, history, cartoons and cats. Also pie.

It's interesting how I recall the 4kids dub being the least favourite one out of the bunch a few years ago! hahaha

I introduced myself to these forums as Ditta a little over 4 years ago, 11 years old! Since then it's evolved into Ditty and I'm 16 and I made a lot of stupid graphics oh my god these userbars look pretty terrible tea and bubu pls (my favourite thing about them are the jpeg artifacts)
I also made a lot of pixel dolls but I can't anymore because dang it.......... what I do however is that I tend to draw now and then but even that is totally rare omg... what i do is that i draw the exact same face in all of my notebooks in class thats how good at drawing i am (i really got that one face down).

I speak Icelandic, English, Danish and I've been learning French and German for like 3 months (it's not enough) (i need to know more languages)

If we're gonna talk winx then !! I'm not a very good winx fan. I refuse to watch anything after the first movie, although I've seen a few of the first episodes of season 4 in Italian and the second movie i saw with my best friend for laughs (it was cute but it was bad, honestly)

the best thing in the world is season 3 please dont say anything else my opinion is the only opinion it is a fact. it is a proven fact.

I don't think I'll ever get used to calling her Aisha. She'll always be Layla to me, just as Andros will always be Tides and Domino will always be Sparx. 4kids version <3.

I was actually remembering a few days ago when me, you, and Annie started using Livemocha to learn languages xD. That was more than 3 years ago! I have some free time this year, and I've been intending to start using it again =D.

Why hello there!

So my name's Jahnavi, as my incredibly creative username suggests, lol, and I'm from India. Most people on the forums took to calling me Jah, though, and most people I know in person call me Jahn. I enjoy being nicknamed. I'm 18 as well and currently in my first year of law school. I love, among other things, to read, sing, play Road Rash, travel, bake, procrastinate, eat junk food and watch Disney movies.

I started watching Winx back when our VCR still worked and I could tape episodes, so that should give you an idea of how long ago it was, haha. But I've been shamefully bad at keeping track of it. I think I stopped watching somewhere just after the start of season four. (Which explains why I went, "Who is this Roy person?" when I read Humbu's post.) Oh, and season two was my favorite and my favorite characters are probably Stella and Musa.

And while I haven't been on MC properly in ages, it makes me glad to know it's still around for us to catch up like this as we're getting older and getting on with our lives, lol.

Nice to meet most of these people. Some of those, I have never posted with.

Ahh! I see you've seen Wreck It Ralph, Jahnavix? That was a cute short animation (and VERY well animated) before the movie. I was in the movie theater "Ahh! How is she ever going to find him randomly in the city!? Noo!" Eventually I relaxed, lol. The actual movie, Wreck It Ralph was good too. I loved all of the game humor.

Hi Yayoi, I see you like Pokemon and Monster High, both of which I still very much like too. I wish Monster High would make itself into an actual series though. The 3D movies and animation shorts are okay, but how about a tv series? They'd get the audience for sure and I would back the show because it's actually something good for kids to watch these days!

Mostly for the veterans: For anyone who is not watching Season 4 and 5 of Winx I don't blame you. I didn't want to... but boredom and curiosity got the better of me. (Curiosity also killed the cat I hear.) I know we most of us loved the first 3 seasons in no particular order (though Ditty knows for a fact that it was Season 3, ha), and these past two seasons (complete with a few movies) show what happens when a producer is no longer in touch with his character universe. I'm sure if we could quote Straffi he'd say something typical like, "I thought it was time to take the series in a new direction" and blah blah blah. I wonder what he would think if he sat down and watched Season 4 & 5 straight through in one go. Would he seriously be proud of what he made compared to his awesome earlier seasons? I see him as a sell-out now. He may be gifted with incredibly great art direction, but if all he cares about is scenery art, lots of big hair styles, and wardrobe changes, then he's got a very shallow idea of what makes for a great story. Remember Season 1? Check out the differences in emphasis put on hair styles and wardrobe. Now check out the differences put upon story, characters, and dialogue. I remember when Bloom's hair was not super frilly and long, just normal and pretty. Each season the styles get more elaborate, but the writing gets worse and worse. A pattern, trade-off? Straffi only seems to care about the image of the franchise these days, a lot of pretty stuff with no substance.

By the way, I'm Zhanneel, ranter-aficionado. xD

I agree with the Monster High thing you said. There has only been one real episode, which was the new ghoul @ school, if I remember. Monster High would do great as a TV series, in my opinion.

As some of you know, my name is Kate and people pretty started calling me as such instead of my Username IDEK when but whatever trevor. I started watching Winx when I was like nine which kind of makes me want to cry because now I'm seventeen and I don't want to grow uuuuupppppo ((((. I reside in Straya M8 in the third biggest city and it's nice yes. Um I'm not honestly all that into Winx Club anymore, but I still love the older series because not only did it occupy most of my preteen/early teen life all the memories here keep it close to my heart aw. My favourite characters are Tecna, Bloom, Musa and Darcy and sort of Layla but who even knows now~

Nick names are nice.

I otherwise enjoy cats, coffee and bands. Bands like My Chemical Romance who are my number one babies/heros/ omg I love them so much, Marianas Trench (shout out to Tea for introducing me to them in our Kaeria stanning roleplay days. They are my second babies), Blink-182 (WHO I GET TO SEE IN FEBRUARY OMG), Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Cobra Starship, The Academy Is..., Green Day, Midtown, Marilyn Manson, Paramore, Pierce the Veil, Sleeping With Sirens, Queen, The Beatles, Bowie, Bob Dylan, Oasis, The Used, The Killers and the list literally goes on forever and ever ok so~

I also like musicals like Phantom and Les Mis and Wicked and Chicago and West Side Story and basically every musical ever and Doctor Who and Sherlock and Harry Potter and Kingdom Hearts and Friends and Glee and Skins and Pepsi Max and Sailor Moon and Labyrinth and roleplaying but I don't have that much time for that and Tumblr x1000.

Um this forum was my life a few years ago and having you guys always helped me through really hard times because it was like wow someone from some random little pocket of the world cares about me yay!!! Ily guys ok bye.
