So I was thinking earlier about different things I kinda missed about my childhood, and being like 6 years old, so I thought I'd post a topic so people can share they're memories and stuff.

I miss going to this one library day club every summer. It was themed and everything. You would read books and play games and do crafts related to the topic. It goes up to age eight or so. When I was like, twelve, my mom somehow managed to snag me an unpaid job as like a helper thing at the camp. Ahem. Long story short, I was gently let go. xD

I miss being able to play Barbies or dressup or something for 5 hours straight when I was 6 and not get bored. It doesn't work anymore. Tori and I tried last weekend for kicks and got bored after 10 minutes.

I miss watching Winx Club at 1 in the afternoon every Sunday on YTV, while eating Kraft Dinner. Okay, so I was like 12 at the time, but I miss that.

I miss the 90's basically. When there were good cartoons, and the Disney channel actually had decent shows. Like the Little Mermaid, Recess and Aladdin. Heck yeah.

Ooh, ditto. I miss the '90s so bad. {Or, at least, whatever I can remember of it, lmao. xD}

One of my fave memories was when I lived in Allentown, in the US (I was probably five or so), and my friend Nishant (he must've been, like, seven) and I used to watch Arthur, like, every freking afternoon. I still have some episodes on tape. =D

In the first house I lived in - we had a pond. There was this time when frogs started to breed there. I was fascinated by these creatures XD. I would always run after the baby frogs and try catch tadpols. Hehe, also their eggs were all over the rocks. I loved poking them. Then, they disappeared one day... >.> Hmm, probarly my parents had enough of the croaking late at night.

Cats. I was obsessed with cats. I countinuelessly drew stick-figure cats. =3 We had two cats of our own. I adored them. But of course - I didn't understand that cats didn't like swimming. I learnt that when I drop her from our porch to the pool under it. Then they ran away, I wonder why...XD

I loved dolls. So yeah, Tea. I also did dress-up with them all day. I would always give them hair cuts. Hair was found everywhere. The house-keeper would always accusse me of giving the dog a haircut...

I remember my favourite TV shows were Powerpuff Girls, Totally Spies and the Pink Panther. X3 ...

Haha...Such good memories...

I miss the Animaniacs. x3

And various other cartoons from the 90's. Even though I only lived like 3 or 4 years in the 90's. xD

But also just actually playing with my cousins and such. In Barbie, My Little Pony or something. Or playing outside.

Licking the bowl. It's lost it's former glory. I made a cake earlier. And...no impulse to link the bowl.

Play doh. No longer fun.

Swings. Slides. Playgrounds. Those? Not fun anymore. I've tried. Actually, scratch swings, those are pretty fun.

I cut Barbie hair last weekend. It was actually entertaining.

OMG YES! Licking bowls and spoons and all that jazz. I miss that.

I miss wearing night gowns with Disney Princesses on them. I remember this one Little Mermaid one I had. Yeah, that was beast.

I had a night gown with Bella from Beauty and the Beast...Agh I miss it.

I kind of like...still eating the dough from the bowl when I make scones and cakes. Exepct I don't lick... I use a spoon. XD Some old habits never die.

Yeah, swings are FAB! XD Trampolines are fun too, expect my back always gets sore and achy - I'm that old... That's just sad.

Amy Jo Johnson has the same birthday as me! I found out yesterday on wikipedia and was like "Amy Jo Johnson sounds familiar...OH YAH POWER-RANGERS!!!!!!11111one'"
Trini was always my favourite.

And coincidentally I was reading all about Power-Rangers on wikipedia yesterday.

I miss the days where riding your bike or walking was the only way to get to any destination.

I miss the days where snacks, nap time, and holiday parties were incorporated into school curriculum.

I miss playing pretend on the playground with friends during recess.

I miss the days where "going out" with someone really meant nothing at all.

I miss the days where gossip, backstabbing, and cruelty really were nonexistent, as we all were trying to get a feel for the world.

I miss going trick-or-treating.

I miss screaming for my parents when a bug scared me (and letting them get rid of it). xD I couldn't get away with that anymore.

I miss a lot of things. Although, despite not being small in stature anymore and young of mind, I realize you can still be young at heart. icon_wink.gif

I miss old Cartoon Network shows, like Dexter's Laboratory and Johnny Bravo and PowerPuff Girls.

I miss making "concerts" with my friends in our back yards and dragging our parents out to watch them.

I miss making forts with blankets and beach umbrellas.

I miss putting big cardboard boxes on skateboards and getting pushed down hills.
