Info About the Winx Club SPECIALS!, Nickelodeon; How will they run the Series Options

WINX CLUB SERIES: SPECIAL EPISODES (4 x 60 MIN)

Winx Specials (4 x 60 MIN) 2011 is certainly the Year of the Winx! The recent deal with Nickelodeon heads up a landslide of new Winx activity, starting with four brand new one hour specials to launch on Nickelodeon worldwide this year. In order to bring Winx Fans up to date with the wonderful ways and going on of the Winx, Rainbow and Nickelodeon are co-producing four specials that will summarize Series One, Two and Three. The specials will be produced in 2D in the glitzy style of Series Four, with a budget 3 million USD.

In Series One the Winx Club was formed by a group of close friends at Alfea College. The dynamic group discover their Fairy powers and, together with the Specialists (their male counterparts), they tackle the difficulties of life at college. Series Two sees the addition of Layla as well as the magical Pixies, who help against the treachery of Lord Drakar, bent on conquering the realm of Magix! In Season Three the Fairies are in their last year of college when they will qualify as full fledged fairies – while dealing with a whole new cast of characters and enemies alike.

Funny, they didn't add the summary of Season 4 in the List. I guess they didn't want to spoiler for the American, Canadian, British, ect Fans who never seen Season 4 yet. Well..of course we saw the spoilers. ^^"

Yippie for the Special Hours of the Episodes so we can catch up!!! xD

This confused me...does this mean? Series 1 to 3 will be like the same Animation Style like in Season 4? 0.0

They'll probably be made in the same quality. I mean, the style never really changed, but the quality increased over time.

To Marty: Your welcome, yep UK will have it. I always kept putting the countries on top so we don't get confused. (There's some sentences I don't want to keep repeating the countries' names since it's understood. xD)

Whoa, so they're like doing season summaries starting from scratch? =O I thought they were gonna air all the episodes in like big chunks or something from the info before, I guess I misread it. Weird =O Thats so interesting lol cant wait to see them.

Lol, they can't play the whole episodes in one day or else it will affect other shows that played in Nick. xD The episodes will be 4 Hours long so we can catch up since we are far behind. xD
It's interesting and yep can't wait. xD

So far..no release date yet and no commercial of Winx Club yet. =/ Still waiting.

Does this "Specials" thing basically means that they wont Re-dub and/or Re-Air the old seasons episodes but Air the resumes instead? if that so, then it sux...

And... as it seems to be me the only one here who thinks that air the WinxClub on Nickelodeon is the worst thing that could ever happen to the show, i have to guess that the Nickelodeon version that air in your region doesn't sux as much as the one we get here...

actually Nickelodeon's Winx version is quite good. I watch both the Italian and Dutch one and there aren't a lot of differences ^^

Ok, the problem here is that the nick version we get here (almost all America except US, canada and brazil if i'm not mistaken) is the worst TV channel ever made by the man... they treat every show as if it were "sponge bob squarepants" I mean... they air the episodes in random order... yeah as stupid as it sounds... no matter what show it is they cannot follow the goddamned episode numbers... we have to watch Avatar on youtube because these idiots even start airing book 2 episodes before end book 1 and they were the creators of the freaking show! and i mention Avatar as example they do the same with everything they show except some idiotic live action sh....ows.

thats why i was hopping it stays on cartoon network since we were getting an Rai version and not a 4kids one, but i guess only the time will tell... but i got the feeling that we will end up watching it on youtube again...

I'm not sure though, cause I never watch Nickelodeon's Cartoons. Only watches Winx Club, the only cartoon I watched. ^^"

I'm not sure...but they sure made changes, hopefully. We just need to see and find out what Nickelodeon is up to when Winx Club is release.

Nickelodeon in Dutch have Winx Club and they did well since they used the Original RAI. Might be a chance Nickelodeon will use the Originial RAI, but there will be voice changes...not sure about the scripts or editing things.

In Cartoon Network of US, they made Winx Club Series just like the same exact script and voices from 4kids.tv I heard that in the Previews were the RAI English and then they changed it to the version of 4kids.tv...so Cartoon Network no longer airs Winx Club because 4kids.tv aired it first (4kids.tv were first to aired it before Cartoon Nextwork aired it). *Though, I like Cartoon Network Time because they aired Winx Club at 5PM. ^_^ 4kids.tv air Winx Club at 7AM, 8AM, or 9AM. -_-"*
