New Super Robot Wars game announced, SRW L Options

Admittedly not many people were happy about this game when it was first announced due to the lineup, but between news about improvements on SRW K's squad mechanics and info about the main character people have been warming up to it. The game's coming out in November, so pre-order while you still can.

Btw, have you seen it yet? It is by far my favorite Macross to date! On another note, I believe a SRW anime just came out.

I have not yet seen Macross Frontier. I've only seen the original SDF, although I do have plans of watching Plus soon. Really, Macross is a franchise I know very little about.

And yes, a new OG anime just came out. I haven't seen the first episode yet though.

Plus is kind of a "side story that doesn't exactly fit into the canon perfectly but everyone still loves it anyway" type of show. The series, chronologically are as follows: Macross Zero, SDF Macross, Macross 7, and Macross Frontier. Macross II doesn't fit into the story line at all (I love it anyway though), and Macross Plus is kind of the same I think. I highly recommend Macross Froniter. The character development is amazing. I went from completely hating Sheryl and loving Ranka to completely hating Ranka and loving Sheryl by the end of the anime. That's rare for me... Usually if I like a character I won't stop liking that character... but Ranka... gah I hate Ranka...
