Though, there is a Winx Club Christmas Special currently in process of airing 2012 (probably arriving in December).

We thought it was this year, but it was pushed to 2012.

BBC 2? as in British Broadcasting company?? seriously? If that's so, it doesn't seem very genuine, BBC 2 wouldn't usually show a childrens fairy show unless it was part of the CBBC times. If it's any other channel then yeah, I'd believe it. But a third movie is probably in the works, its just the specials on BBC 2 I'm sceptical about.

The BBC 2 may do they did W.I.T.C.H and other cartoons, still do. Although I do aggree as it was CITV that did winx originally

Yeah, that's another thing, CITV's Toonattik did winx at one point, so I doubt the bbc would have it, shame really, would love to be able to download winx from iplayer. I remember when they did W.I.T.C.H

But, I think a third winx movie would probably happen, its inevitable that something has to come soon.
I do wish they did a good live action, though it could ruin winx for some if they did it.

I don't know if a live action movie would really work. The Winx Power Show and other theater/Ice shows only really worked since they were musical oriented.

if they invested into it well, and didnt go all 3D unreal cgi, then it'd work perfectly. Think of the scooby doo movies, they did well, if they put time and effort into a live action winx it'd be perfect.

I would love a live action Winx Club. especially if the voice actors play their characters. Molly Quinn could totally play Bloom. well...honestly, all the girls look like they could play their characters. Some would have to wear wigs, but that can totally happen. I don't really care if it looks silly or cheesy, I would just love to see my favorite fairies portrayed in reality.

I've imagined a live action for years. I'd absolutely love it, they'd have to get the actresses to perform on strings in front of green screens for the transformation sequences, and flight sequences. The wings would look amazing (especially if they did the cool fading into the body effect the 3D movies use) They could make it a girly-adventure-fantasy-action-comedy all in one! :) Tbh I wouldn't care if others made fun of it! xD I loved the last airbender live action, even though my friends all think its nothing special and has bad acting. Heck, if I love my barbie films so much, a winx live action would fit well with my collection.
The only hing I;d worry about is some of the outfits...

plus, here's a question: Would they make the live action in english....or italian?

I would assume both if it is getting big in the US. I wouldn't mind one as long as it wasn't tacky like some of the power rangers shows are. I fear that it could be though.
