@Mazei: December sounds good. We could start the nominations at the beginning of the month, then have the voting, and announce the results around New Year's. ^^

And I have an idea for a few more categories. So, feel free to PM me if you want to hear my ideas (or to tell me that I'm getting too bossy, and should stop organizing this (no, SRSLY)), or add your own ideas. Oooor, you could go here...

Now, let me explain my additions... *cracks knuckles*

Best Fan-Fic Author is obvious--a member who you think writes great fan-fiction.
Most Origianl Fan-Fic is pretty straight-forward too--a fan-fic with a unique theme/subject.
Most Versatile Member is a member who has made significant contributions to different boards and topics; fan-fiction, fan-art, news, RPs, misc., etc.
Favorite Old-Timer goes to a friendly and helpful member who's joined within a year of the forum being made (and been active since then, obviously) and Favorite Newbie is the same thing, but for anyone who's joined in the last six months.
Best Video Maker is obvious too--pick a member who makes great vids. And Best Winx AMV is for any prize-worthy Winx video uploaded by one of our members.

Oh, and here are two more, that I saw on another forum: Most Original Username and Most Knowledgeable Member

That brings us to a grand total of... *counts* twenty-three awards. {If you don't like any of the categories I suggested, or if you have any questions about them, please tell me. ^^}

[EDIT: Ooh, just thought of another one: Favorite Forum Game. And the award can be given to whichever user made the topic. {So twenty-four awards, then.}]

That would be fun. Haha! I have a lot of people in mind that could be classified as "out of this world". I found that the people who are weird believe other people are weird even though they are the weirdest.

I suggest The Most Dedicated or Active Member.

I think like Jah said it would make sense for it to be the start of nominations. So since I think nominations are starting beginning of December, anyone who joined June and after would be considered a new member.

No offense to anyone, but didnt we just have an award show like 2-3 months ago? Dont you guys think your rushing it a bit? I mean awards shows are held yearly. Not alot of things have been happening for there to be a need for another award show. This is just strictly my opinion, but dont you guys think we should at least wait another 5-6 months? Maybe new rps will be made, new artists will come on and display their work, new members will join.

Hmm, thats a good point but since the winners are going to be announced at the shoutbox ball, it was decided to start the nominating/voting process a little earlier than it was meant to be so there's time to make the awards and all before then. Also, by the time the winners are announced it will have been nearly 6 months since the last time winners were, and twice a year seems like a decent time frame IMO.

The list seems good to me :)

How about The Most Musical Member award? Well, it is probably hard to judge but we did have MCI so it isn't like people haven't witnessed others musical abilities or singing abilities before. It's just a suggestion.
