*SORRY EVERYONE! I'VE BEEN VERY BUSY HOWEVER I'VE FIXED UP THE POLLS. VOTING STARTS AUGUST #1*
There are many other contestants waiting to enter, voting will commence after the deadline Abdu 6b gave us, otherwise the poll will be reset. So basically there's no point.

BTW, I don't think its a good idea to vote for the contestant you dislike the most, I think its better to vote for your favourite. It seems kinda mean targeting one person.

About the illumination judging I have an idea. PEOPLE DO NOT VOTE FOR WHO YOU WANT TO WIN, VOTE FOR WHO YOU WANT ILLUMINATED! {For example people hated my singing and they all wat me to lose so everyone including the staff and contestents vote for me and I end up with most votes so I get illuminated in the first round, k?}

Eeks, seems kind of cruel to put our elimination votes right out on the thread. Maybe the judges can send our vote(s) to one person and he/she can tally them? Maybe W.I.N.X. since she is the announcer? =)

No offence, Guys but I think the idea of having votes
of who's the worst is a bad idea. It hurts people's feelings in the future it's
a better idea just to have a panel of judges who just decide a winner.

I say forget the stupid poles and judges send your vote for who should get eliminated to the announcer, and when the announcer has everyone's votes they announce here who is going through and who isn't.

i think the voting should take place on the thread that way no cheating or fixing of the votes can be done

abdu, i really think you should have planned this out more..this is taking ENTIRELY to long...im really getting impatient with this contest...its been almost 3 wks and nothing has been decided on the way voting is dealt with.

Well people can vote here for who did the best and the other polls for who did the worst. Sounds good to me....OKAY so it ain't exactly the best but I have a head ache right now and it's getting worse. So no more questions.

Sorry Abdu, we're not trying to upset you. We're just saying that the contest should have been planned out a little better, so that we don't waste so much time and effort.

(Because in case you haven't noticed, there are already two threads that say "Magix Club Idol Voting", and both of them are pretty much dead. We just want to get something done.)

Good Idea Abby. My headache is only lasted a day so I'm fine and anymore questions are welcome. I agree it should have had been planned better and it was hard cuz I made and I'm a contestant.

ok, how does this sound? we use this poll to decide on who get eliminated by deciding on a date until people could vote by (like in a week or so) The person who has the least number of votes is eliminated. Then the poll is reset without the person who got eliminated's name, after the six contestants post their new entries.

How about the other poll gets deleted and since AnnieBelle's link won't work we have all the links put together again in one post and next people have 1 week time to vote and by the end the 1 or 2 people with the least votes are illuminated. PM me if you disagree.

Natasha should be in there instead of Annie. Because if Annie gets booted it will be unfair because her link was broken and Natasha willl get straight in. So it should probably get changed again.

I think that we should add Daphne and Natasha's entries, fix Annie's link, and reset the poll, and make the deadline one week past that is accomplished. Otherwise, its unfair.

You just need to ignore them. I have plenty of bad comments on all of my singing videos but I just ignore them. I mean not to sound blunt, but not everyone is going to like even the best singers voice.

Well we know why Natasha's was taken out, but why was Daphne's? I say it's up to Natasha if she wants to enter back into the contest or not. If she does we can reset the poll and put her link back up, same w/ daphne.

Hm, I don't know if Daphne is participating. A) She still hasn't replied to my message, and B) On Magix Club (I mean the site, not the forums) she said she would be quite inactive now that school was starting. So unfortunately, I don't think she's going to submit an entry.

Oh, and we need and administrator or a moderator to put Natasha back in the poll.

I would change it, but I don't have that kind of power as a moderator. So I think daphne will have to be the one to change it. I honestly think this competition should be dropped. I know it's cool and all, but it has been over a month and we're still in round one.

*sigh* I've been trying to contact Daphne all week, but I don't think she came online (although she told us that she would be inactive once school started, so it's not her fault). Do you think we should just scrap the competition? Maybe we can try something like this again later, when we've organized it better.

I think we should... Scrap it. The original thread was made around two months ago, and we haven't even got past the first round. So, I agree, we should just scrap the competition. Maybe we can do this again later when we've planned it out and organized it better.

In retrospect, it was poorly organized. mightymarty2, I agree with you, there aren't enough contestants. However, if we ever do get the # of contestants needed, we should use audioboo.fm to record our entries.
