I just got a video camera, and i am trying to get my video on my mac. I went to the storre and i found out i cant go directly to the mac, i have to go through quicktime. the only problem is, when i try to go to quick time, it tells me its not in the right format. can some one please help me???

*Groan* Macs are my worst enemy. I don't know too much about them, but I'll try to help. Have you completely upgraded your Quicktime or is it a pretty old version?

Hmm... this is odd. It should be able to simply connect with your camera without the aid of Quicktime. Did it specify what format?

OK. Have you already tried to import your video with iMovie in Quicktime or is the problem somewhere else?
