Animations help Options

I was wondering how to make animations from YouTube,
for example i know how to make animations with ImageReady .. but i have to import frame by frame or import a PNG file. It gets tideous!

anywho how do you guys get the animations from youtube? do i need another program if so which one? and what version is best?

You could do it the hard way:

The hard way

• Take two screenshots of every second
  • For every screenshot paste on Microsoft Paint and save each (as a PNG file if you need to)
• When you are done taking all the screens for the day paste them on to your program one by one and play

You could download the video and play it in Windows Movie Maker (That is if you have one xD), use the feature where you can hop to next frame and take a screenshot at an X number of frames passed. Then paste the screenshot into imageready, crop it and copy to yout animation timeline.

xd That's prolly a hard way but hey, I don't know anything else.

I just use the download helper plugin for firefox or Free Music Zilla to download the video. Then I would use Virtual Dub to either save the portion you want to make into an animation into a separate AVI and open that in Photoshop as an animation or you can save the clip as a image sequence. There are quite a few ways though.

Lol! Well, you can download all of those programs because they are free. :) If you wish to use IE, you can still download Free Music Zilla which can replace the purpose of Download Helper. Well, if you ever have questions, ask away.

awsome i shall try to download them (my dads real strict about downloads) TT_TT i shall animate things without the hassle of my lazziness XD

i made this for MB btw. all the hard way.. took about 70 frames D:


NOTE: it takes a bit to load.. that is why its so slow animated. wiat for it to load.. it looks WAY better! XD

Wow it is fast but it has great colors. ^^ Plus I like how your gave it a circle blur. It loaded quite fast for me. A lot of the long animations I have made have went to 200 or 300 frames even after I tried to adjust the speed and delete uneeded frames. O_O

XD lolz well it couldnt get all the frames i wanted so i had to go through each of them and fasten it up.. it looked disjointed if not =_=" which is a pain cuz it could be better if it was slower and people could actually see what they are trying to see XD

Lol! But it is kind of cool. Since it is disjointed a little, it kind of feels like you are looking at her through a video camera in a way. I think you just needed more frames. Just wondering but how long did it take you?

If you have an AVI (or something similar), a good program to use is Blaze Media Pro. I have it and with 'edit video,' I can go frame by frame by frame when getting something.

In my intro post, I used a Flora pic that I made by doing that. It's really simple to do. I love it. I use it for icon making when I want some good or certain screenshots.
