Ok, I remember from Season 1 that Diaspro was a fairy, and I just realized something from this episode - how come she didn't bother to free herself unless she couldn't activate her powers from where she was? But then again, Bloom and her group got their butts kicked too even though they're more capable than Diaspro - she'd probably be more worried about getting her outfit dirty *lol*
And who thinks that was one of the silliest episodes ever next to the one where they were on the resort realm (220-222)?
That was indeed, a silly Episode. But also a fun parody of several Animé clichés.
i don't know but i think it was a plot to get sky to rescue her and then fall in love with her (i cannot remember the plot clearly as i have not seen the episode in a while) the resort realms had a good point untill magic started to work then it got confusing
[noguests]I liked that episode alot. But I guess its similar to how in season 1 in episode 5 (Date with Disaster) Stella couldnt transform when she was tied up by the witches, she couldnt activate her powers or something? I dont know... [/noguests]
Haha, I love the Resort Realm episodes! Several are among my faves.
Ahem...
"Sky, watch out for that tree!" XD
I can't help but appreciate them, since it brings in the Palladium/Avalon sub-plot.
yea the resort relm was my fave episode in season2 also when bloom turrned dark
wrong writters was interesting except the rest of the winx werent in the episode it was bloom flora sky and brandon
No, it wasn't a plot by her. What it was was 2 different groups that were going after her - one, a ninjetti group controlled by Yoshimoya - sent a ransom note; however, it was the Wrong Righters that actually kidnapped her, creating a bit of confusion. Now Sky's parents had the thought that since Sky was trying to vallently to save her - despite Bloom being right there - they might fall in love and get re-engaged.
After the Resort Realms it was just a fight against time to make sure the Ultimate Power didn't fall into the Phoenix's hands, which consisted of Darkar using the Trix to get Bloom, although he ended up getting her from the Paladin that he had made into his servant. He dumped the Trix, turned Bloom evil to get her to help him get the U.P., the Trix combining their powers to fight against him and Bloom to take the U.P. for themselves and the Winx and Soldier and their teachers working together to make sure that didn't happen...which it didn't, thanks to Sky's speech to Bloom and Sky using the "L" word to Bloom for the first time.
Very fast rundown, but hopefully that clears things up for you on Season 2.
