Magix Club's Forum _ Other _ Rainbow Magic Land

So it is Rainbow's theme park just outside of Rome and it looks awesome. It opened up last year I think so there's been info out about it for a while, but I couldn't find another thread that discusses it. So I thought I would make this one in case anyone wants to talk about it or if they have more info about it. This video was just posted on youtube, not sure if it is from the company or fanmade:

If I ever get to Rome, I so want to stop by here for a day!

Posted by: mightymarty2 Feb 28 2012, 9:04 AM

I think both are fanmade

Posted by: Sen Feb 28 2012, 3:43 PM

I hope I can go to it this year, but the parc's rarely open in the autumn. T.T

I wonder if there are also Pixie shows in the Pixie Village. =D

Posted by: Abby Feb 28 2012, 7:49 PM

possibly, it would probably have to people in a full out costume though kind of like some of the disney characters at disney land.

The second one is just a recording of one of the shows at the park. This one seems legit though:

I hadn't visited the official park's site for a while. Looks like they have a new layout & an English version now https://www.magicland.it/ icon_biggrin.gif

The park will reopen 31 March. =D

They must have just updated it, so that video is official! I wanna go on winx day, and I wonder what their harry potter day would be like?

Posted by: mightymarty2 Mar 1 2012, 8:18 PM

I am surprise about a Harry Potter day as its not Rainbow, its universal

Posted by: dreamywinxgirl94 Mar 5 2012, 3:16 AM

Wow, I hadn't seen the new updates. xD The last time I know was the day it first opens. ^_^

I really want to go there as well, but so expensive to travel. =/

I notice the Official Site, the Alfea College is by the water. Such a pretty view! <3

They have Harry Potter there? Cool. I didn't know that. xD I wonder how it looks like.

Posted by: Abby Mar 5 2012, 3:38 AM

Harry Potter world is so awesome. I went there for vacation last summer and it was amazing (this is coming from the avid Harry Potter fan though). The celebration at Rainbow magic land is probably just a day with the characters or something without the actual buildings etc.

Posted by: dreamywinxgirl94 Mar 7 2012, 4:01 AM

Lucky! I never seen a Harry Potter world. I wanted to see it so badly too. xD
Probably, that would make sense because I don't see any buildings there. ^_^

Rainbow Magic land isn't about Rainbow S.p.A, its main theme is "magic". That's where Harry Potter comes in. icon_smile.gif

Where is Harry Potter world? In the US? =o

Posted by: mightymarty2 Mar 7 2012, 5:13 PM

@Sen Universal has Harry Potter in the US and that explains it

Posted by: Abby Mar 8 2012, 12:03 AM

Yeah that would make sense, plus Harry Potter is huge everywhere.

@Sen it's in Orlando Florida at the Universal Island of Adventures. Here are just 2 of the 100 pictures I took while there last summer, and apparently they expanding it sometime soon too!

Posted by: dreamywinxgirl94 Mar 11 2012, 10:39 PM

Oh..I get it now. xD

Omg, wow thanks for showing it to us Abby! *Fainted* Wow....they looked so real! xD Did you go inside the Hogwarts castle, Abby? =D

I even heard they will also have Harry Potter in California similar to this, believe they are still in process. =)

Posted by: Abby Mar 12 2012, 2:45 AM

yup =) there is a ride inside the castle but as you wait in line for it you go through different parts like Dumbledore's office and some hallways with statues and other things that were seen in the movies.

For the one time in my life I might be able to afford visiting Europe I think I would want to check out the Rainbow theme park. I like how they are comparing it to the Harry Potter World in Universal Studios. I got the chance to visit Harry Potter World a year ago, and it was nice. Interactive, rides, food, and the best part -- good souvenirs! If they could turn it into something of Disney caliber it would be a great place for whole families. I look forward to Winx universe scenery, locations, decorations, clothing, food,... stationary! Yeah, I have a addition to pens, paper, and stickers, ha.

Posted by: Abby May 5 2012, 7:18 PM

I want to go, but I'm not really familiar with other rainbow shows so I would probably be going mostly for the winx club parts of it. But then again I only really went to Orlando's Islands of adventure just for the Harry Potter part last summer.

That's pretty impressive, free park admission just for buying a backpack? How much is it normally to get into the park?

35 Euros. =)

I want the headphones. I would shamelessly wear them everywhere if they were cheap enough, ha.

Posted by: Abby Jun 6 2012, 4:37 PM

That's not too expensive then, I was thinking it would be more in the range of Disney World expensive.

I think they're included in the bag. There was a schoolbag line with headphones last year. =)

It's not? I wouldn't know. laugh.gif

Disney world is close to like $100 a ticket for one day admission, other parks (like Cedar Point in Sandusky OH, where I usually go a lot) are only $40ish.

Rainbow Magicland will be open every day (7/7).

The amusement park at Roma Valmontone sees trees, dancing fountains added [to its park] and it is preparing for Asgard, the ice kingdom.

There are several new items for the new season at Rainbow Magicland, which reopens its doors on 16 April.
The first novelty is the timetable. The park will be open on all days until mid-September "to make it easier for communication to the outside and to give the audience more certainty about the days and time", observes the new executive manager Andrea Gasperoni.
There are also changes in the commercial policy with prices which aren't family friendly. After the summer, the park will open again from Christmas until 6 January 2015.

Among the new items is Gattobaleno, the mascot, who will receive an active role inside the park, performing magic. A large number of trees has been added in the park to create shadow, which was missing before during warm months. The Winx, fairy godmothers of the park, are celebrating their 10th anniversary, so there will be a new show with this theme. Among the attractions there are dancing fountains arriving, which are already popular in Dubai and are now transferred to the "Fairy Lake".

And in the summer, Illusion and Asgard, the ice kingdom, are started. "We're the first park in the centre-south [t/n: of Italy] - confirmed the manager - and the third in Italy, and we hope to soon become to second, and in the long term, the first thanks to important investments in the coming three years."

Meanwhile a new promo campaign has started "the main theme is carefreeness" explains the marketing director Marina Cipriano while presenting the commercials.
