So... my activity has gone down quite a bit.
Turns out my home internet connection can't load Magixclub for some reason. I can only connect on the school network. And even then, some of the interface images won't load.
I get this image at home:
I tried pressing the blue button, it gets me to another screen with a button that supposedly brings me to a cached version of the site.... for about half a second before it goes back here. Even if I use my gaming-honed reflexes to press that button, it just reverts to the above screen.
The only difference I know between my school network and my home network is that my School Network is a 5 Ghz Network.
Uhm..... Help? School isn't exactly the place I should be visiting this site....
Not to mention I will be having a two-week Christmas break in two weeks.
After that only a month left in school before I go to my final internship before graduation.
I don't want to sound dramatic but I don't want to say goodbye to this place just yet.
Please, if someone knows what to do, please help me.
If all else fails, please leave some e-mail adresses so I can stay in touch and maybe come up with a roundabout solution.
Mine is http://[email protected]
I have had that problem of the website offline very ocassionally but its normally back on next time I try after waiting a bit (I would estimate about 8 hours).
I also have lower useability with some icon images not working and haveing an all light blue background. With avatars gone and a site message that should disappear after 2 seconfs but is still here minutes later. I have tried 2 different browsers and no change. The second issue started yesterday but I thought it maybe ok today, as I didn't have time to check last night. I was wrong and its still the same today.
It's been going on for two weeks for me now, and like I said, I can connect on my school's network sorta fine. At home, not at all.
I have the same problem with P-Girl yesterday! I think I deleted my cookies and goggle around the net for a while. Then it was back on...thankfully.
I get the same error message quite often, but the blue button usually seems to work. I would try deleting your cookies, all that jazz.
Edit: This actually came up as a problem awhile back. There's even a topic about it http://magixclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6717. It doesn't really seem like the server change helped things. If I were you, I would report your problem to the admin and see if there's anything at all she can do.
Tried all that jazz, all that rock and all that country. And like I said, the school network's working just fine. And at home, it's the ONLY site with issues.
We have been modifying the server config these past few weeks. Both intentionally and unintended ones. If you were have problems yesterday, than it was expected because we were also doing some changes and goofed a bit which took time to diagnose.
@p-girl
Forget what happened previously and start monitoring MC now instead, does the problem still persist?
I'll be able to tell if I get home....
Apparently, we have a massive DNS cache problem with Cloudflare just now and I'm still trying to find the root cause of it. So don't be surprise if you encounter it which is a completely different unrelated problem with Cloudflare's error message "Website is Offline"
Alright.
And thanks for helping me.
The website is back to normal for me now
Me too, yay!
Thank you so much.
I am glad its back up!!!
It happen again yesterday! >_<
It doesn't happen anymore, at least for me.
