Saw Tron the other day.

Story was kinda standard, but I'm going to be honest, I wasn't going to Tron for the story. I was going for:
A) The visuals
B) The Music (Daft Punk, baby!)

And I got:
A) Awesome Visuals
B) Awesome Music
C) Jeff Bridges being awesome
D) Jeff Bridges' awesome coat

So yeah, I was a happy camper. It's one of those movies you can describe as just plain FUN.

Just one thing: what's with the Castor fangirling? I don't get it. Sure, he's entertaining, but fangirling? Nah. But then again, I was too busy fangirling over a certain music duo cameo so that might've been distracting me.

Black Swan

Thoroughly intense movie... I have never seen anything like it; in fact, it was extremely hard to watch. Definitely a reason why it has been rated R in the states. By strictly critical standards, though, it is definitely an Oscar-worthy movie (though I'm still "rooting" for Inception.) I am going to bet that Natalie Portman (the lead in the movie) wins "Best Actress" (and deserves it!)

My friends and I watched 127 Hours at a sleepover last night. Personally, I think I'd rather read the book. The movie didn't make the story seem as optimistic as I'd hoped. It actually made it seem sadder, imho. I still think it's truly inspirational, though.

{Although it was around 2:00 a.m. when we watched it, so I fell asleep about two days into his ordeal and woke up immediately after he cut his arm off. So I don't think I'm too qualified to comment on this movie. My freinds said it was really gory, though. I think my brain involuntarily shut my eyes for me. xD}

Last week I went to see "I am Number 4" with one of my friends. I didn't think it would be, but it was really good.

I saw Rango.

It had an outlaw Rattlesnake with bandoliers and a gattling gun for a rattle.
Johnny Depp as a Chameleon.
The cutest yet scariest little rat-girl ever (She carries revolvers in her lunchbox)
and Flight of the Valkyries on BANJOS.

Yeah. It was pretty much Crazy Awesome incarnate.

Beverly Hills Chihuahua, I love that movie. It's really entertaining to watch, and Papi is sweet, yet so corny (at least to me), I own the second movie though I have yet to see it.

Green Lantern. Holy cow. Brilliance. And that's coming from someone who's actually read comics and isn't a total n00b about the whole idea of the Corps.

Johnny English Reborn....it was actually hilarious, despite what I assumed from the trailer....in a dopey, British of course. British humour is good in all it's forms.

In theaters? ...I honestly don't remember. I'm pretty sure it was the live RiffTrax of Jack the Giant Killer, which was hilarious.

Not in theaters, I watched Ghostbusters. Always excellent.

Has it been released yet? Awesome thumbsup.gif (I agree, British humour just can't be bad~)
