I didn't mean to offend anybody, and I'm not saying that I think all younger people are immature and I don't want to talk to them. And I wasn't trying to present this as a way to exclude or ignore people. I really tried to make that clear in my opening post, so I'm sorry if anybody got the wrong idea about what I was proposing.
It seems that the main views against the idea are that people would lie about their age and that there really isn't a lot of subject mater above a pg-13 rating that would have a place on this site, anyway, which are both valid points. Like I said, as far as age goes, there isn't really any way that we could be totally sure, we'd just have to trust that members would tell the truth.
Content-wise, like I said, it wouldn't be a place to post the kind of things that aren't really appropriate for anyone. Basically, I was looking at it from a parental sort of view. A lot of parents like to check up on what their kids are doing online. But the parents of, say, a 15-year-old would have a higher tolerance level than the parents of, say, somebody who is 10 or 11. Some parent might not even let their kids join or keep coming to the forum, depending on what they see and what they deem appropriate. So like I said, it would be more a place for things that are more "mature" and might cause objection in the case of a younger member (or their parent or guardian)
And in case anybody was confused, I'm not saying we should make the whole board have an age limit, or totally segregate the age groups so that only younger members could post here and the older members could only post there. There would still be all of the communication and ways for everybody to talk to each other that there are now. This would be just an added area for people of an older age to communicate things that might get younger people in trouble, but that they know they themselves are alright to discuss.

The concept of a 16+ forum sounds interesting but like Admin had mentioned earlier, it also poses many problems. In my opinion, I think a Member Team for 16+ members is ideal however I think only well established members on the forums be allowed access. In that way we can trust that they wouldn't do anything excessively wrong. (They wouldn't overstep the boundaries etc). But once more, I think the whole concept of this forum is a place for winx fans to chat but I can totally understand what you're talking about, like the use of our slang and whatnot, I tend to use slang that's mild, but it'd probably be inappropriate for younger members. We can discuss this topic with the Honor Members and Moderators to seek their opinions in order to make an informed decision. Once more I think a member team is the best way to go, because we wouldn't want to make a forum section dedicated to 16+ members and eventually have the two age groups separated because the older members would be more inclined to chat where they could use certain "terms" and slang. BTW, for reference, I'm 14
