I place it on extreme insecurity about my looks. I always go effectively go out of the way of pictures being taken of me, and even if there are some they won't find their way to the internet for millions of people to see......

Are u kidding? Hove u seen me? Only 6 feet and and a few(lot) pounds more, and I have no chance of being Don Juan. And yet, what U're doin, in my opinion, with all respect and love, its the worst thing u can do. And from the photo of u I saw the other time, you were beutiful(a little nerdy admit, but beutiful. Having insecurity about looks can lead to worst insecurities. In any photo, a smile will make it wonderful.

Thanks..... I know I'm a pretty girl. It's just..... bad experiences have greatly influenced my behaviour. I've been a social outcast for most of my school-years, and it's kinda difficult for me to shrug of.... I know it's wrong and stupid, but whenever someone gives me a compliment from 'You're pretty' to 'You're a good writer', my first reaction is still 'No, I'm not.'. And trust me, I want it to change, and it is changing, it's just a slow process.

I always thought Flora was just tanned from being out in the sun all day because she has a green thumb. You see how tanned Gardners get. I guess though that would make you question stella though.

If it's any consolation, I know how you feel. I also am the kind to shrug off compliments. Maybe it's partially because you're modest or you'd rather not give people the impression that you're "full of yourself?" (At least, that is part of the reason why I do it... )
Just remember that you're out in the real world now; all those social groups in school do not matter anymore. icon_wink.gif It may be hard to move on and put it behind you, but simply trying to think optimistically may make it a bit easier.

I really feel as if I just stuck my nose where it doesn't belong. Sorry if I did. :/ I simply can't stand witnessing the upset people have with themselves. Maybe it's because I know how it feels, and I hate it, so I want to try to help in some way so others don't feel that way... I don't know. *hug* In any case, I'm sorry...


As for nationalities of the Winx Club...
I really don't think I could guess very accurately, in all truthfulness. Of course, Iginio and his "people" probably know what they were trying to accomplish with each character, (as in, what nationality, who they resemble (celebrity), etc.) but that is something they know and I won't try to guess at.
That, and I'm horrible at guessing games...
And I mean horrible. icon_mrgreen.gif

Like I said before, I doubt we really could even determine any of their nationalities, as they're from a totally different dimension.

@Boo: I'm one to shrug off compliments as well. I just don't really like un-needed attention I think.

Still winx club hasnt made everything distictly new and fairy. Also of Musa's styles are quite clearly based off of East Asian. And Flora's shirt in season 1 did remind me of the (europe) spanish styles.

I think this girl is meant to take more after the indian, middle eastern cultures.

To those of you who think Flora looks "Indian": Did you ever see an Indian with light brown/blonde hair? And green eyes? Granted, some Indians have very light eyes, but not green. >.>
