I like 4kids, the voices and music are way better

I agree 100% The voices are so much more expressive and suit the personalities of the characters better. Some of the cuts they make aren't too bad. Like when Rai makes the different characters repeat the same thing like 3 times.

Yes! Like what's up with Musa's transformation in season 3? Instead on using the original one, 4kids edited it totally so now her hair looks plastic

4kids!! it's the version i watched Winx in, and i've seen bits and pieces of the Rai version on YouTube and i'm like "wow the voices are terrible!" no offense! but that's what i thought!! and plus i ♥ 4kids!!

I think that voices in 4kids suite characters too much... Its like we have these six girls, and lets give them each one characteristic and everything about them (even the voices) should be submitted to this. In rai, those girls have same personalities, but it is much more subtle.

And everything else in rai is way better! Especially the first season and the thing with Darcy and Riven. That is something I just can't get over.

But I just don't like plastic characters. I would like to see some opposites in one character. Like tomboy that looks very sweet and fragile, but is very tough (Musa), or technological girl who is at the same time funny (Techna), or spoiled princess who can actually be very good friend, and very strong fighter (Stella), or tough guy who doesn't trust anybody, think that everybody is against him, but at the end accepts friendship... Its just, that in 4kids they simplified things a lot, and lost something there.

I'll say, the witches voices in the RAI version definitely caught me off guard because they weren't that stereotypical evil. There's something about Icy's voice, she said 'My dear' at one point, and it totally made me forget what she was trying to do. Hah!
I'm just sick of evil voices for evil characters, it makes me feel like their only purpose isn't just to be evil. Also I find it kinda cheesy.

Well, i like 4kids better because i grew up with it, and, well, seriously, if i had watched Rai version, I probably wouldnt have taken any interest in it at all. No offence, but if you see how everyone talks abot 4kids these days...it's like all there hard work to promote the show and voice characters gets them nothing. And well...the Rai voices sound like the Winx are like...40.


That's just my opinion. And I'm not changing my mind.

Well for me it's a tie...but 4kids.tv voices are so much better than RAI English Voices. It's like RAI English voices confused me? They don't show emotion for the characters it's like they are talking normal instead of acting like the character's personality.

4kids.tv shows a lot of acting for matching the same traits of characters' personality. Since I grew up with them. =)

However....I really love the RAI English songs...I just wish 4kids.tv use them like resing it to American version. =( It's kinda gets annoying to repeat the same song over again especially, the opening as well. Never changed. Just changed the parts of the Winx's Powers. And I don't like the ending that 4kids.tv done. -_-"
Though, I just love both songs, but RAI English is more longer. I guess.
Also the scripts that RAI English has, it would be cool if 4kids.tv use the same script from RAI English, all they gotta do is react it to an American way, no changing scripts as their own. -_-" But they changed.

For episodes cutting off is so annoying...4kids.tv should leave it alone. Cutting off the parts of the episodes causes us to be confused that something is missing? =(

well i like the voice actors in 4kids much better.. its more realistic and each of the charecters have personality within their voice. it all fits. whilst rai due is good with the story line and translation but lacks in spunk (lol spunk). its like they both even out for me because each of them are missing a vital part. but in the end i think i like 4kids better because for me.. i need a good voice to build the charecter and spark my imagination. plus rai due is good but i hate their expressions sometimes liek "we need some chill time girls" *puke* too girly for me XD too american.

So.... exagarated voices are realistic? I don't try to attack your opinion, but the voices of Rai are way more realistic because they're more modest and flat. 4Kids exagarated them, perhaps giving them more distinct personalities, but realism? Nah.

It's a cartoon! Cartoon's aren't supposed to be realistic. Exaggerating the voices make them more fun, and recognizable. If you were to compare the Rai voices to other people's, chances are there would be some major similarities. If you were to do the same thing with the 4kids voices, they would be much more unique. That for sure, plays a big role in why I prefer 4kids.
