after i saw the new wings i flip out but they had horrible name speedix or zoomix i mean belivix took a while to get use to but seriously speedix they have to do way better then this of course you guys can dissagree so write what you think

I agree. Speedix could use some work. But then there was that other one. Tracix I think it was. That's a cool name.

Here is an idea.


Speedix enable you to go from point A to B to C quickly.

A---------B----------C


When Zoomix allows you to go from A to C instantly!

A-C


Doesn't that.. negate the point of speedix?

But if you're following someone, then you dont know where they're going so you have to go to point B in between. That, or you could teleport little by little, but I got the impression that zoomix takes alot more energy.

In terms of look, my order is
Zoomix
Tracix
Speedix

But it still bothers me what are Tracix for? The only reasonable explanation I came up with is: they are for magical tracking. (for tracking something using magic) But why wings? The same for Zoomix. Why don't just cast a spell? What the wing part has to do with it? Except we get few more transformation seconds (and the music is not bad)

Bubamara, I did wonder why they need wings for these, too, but oh well.
As it comes to the wings themselves, although I'm not so fond of the Speedix ones, I did like a lot the Tracix and Zoomix.

Specialisation, people. Normal Believix wings might be fast, but they aren't ZOMG! Superspeed! Because they're probably also meant to contain magic and such. Speedix gives up a part of that magic for bigger speed.

I'm more than OK with speedix. And I somehow understand that zoomix has something to do with wings, though as mightymarty mentioned, Stella was able to do that in s1, but I agree that is ok that the other girls get that ability, but why wings? why not the spell? And its even more weird with tracix. They get the wings, see it, loose the wings. Why the wings? why not the magic wand? why not just the spell?

fair enough... I like the idea about special wings, and in my opinion they managed to do good thing with speedix. Other two could have been done better (an idea, tracix could be sensitive about magic, so they could use them to trace the magic)...

I also like it. But the Speedix wing bother me.... they're big and bulky, and the shape..... Aerodynamics say no. Those itsy-bitsy winx from Zoomix are way better suited for speed.

I dont like that speedix zoomix etc. In s3 was fairy dust and it was great. I prefer spell.

I like it. Like I said, specialisation. Maybe that's because I love turn-based strategy, where stuff like this is very common.

Not sure about that. They are kinda pointy, at have good aerodynamic when they are flying, like on this picture. (of course, Im not good with aerodynamics)


But I do prefer zoomix ones, as well.

It's not. That little bulge right under the point? That's what kills speed. And it's common knowledge that the lighter you are, the faster you go.

but shouldn't there be enough air under their wings? I thought they should be pointy at the end, so they will decrease the air resistance, (the smaller surface they penetrate the air faster, and they have to have some knife-like shape, that's smooth, they should have just one part, so the two parts don't have to "cut into the air"), but at the same time they should have large surface to keep the air underneath them.
At least that's what I have though... Large surface, that easily penetrates the air, but still light (like light material)
