Anyone watch this? I just downloaded it and it is a pretty good anime... Considering the only anime I have ever, ever watched was Sialor Moon and Tokyo Mew...

Most epic season ending ever. Instead of ending on a climax with a cliffhanger and unanswered questions, all questions are answered and season 2 starts off smoothly.

I like this very much. A sham there are only two season icon_sad.gif

I liked what I saw of it when we watched it at anime club. Not something I'd watch on my own but it was a solid series.

Plus the manga's still going on IIRC.

I downloaded all 257 chapters of the manga.

I still have all the winx comics that are translated to read, the witch comics, sailor moon manga, and then this.
I'll never do any of them.

You think that's bad?

I'm planning on watching Legend of Galactic Heroes at some point. That's the longest OVA series ever. Over 110 episodes in the proper series, multiple full-length movies, multiple gaiden stories 20+ episodes long, AND that's not even counting the off-chance of getting my hands on the extended backstory set before the series: ten full-length NOVELS

Sailor Moon's pretty humble.

Ojamo Doreimi or however you call it was the longest Magic Girl series for the longest time, but then came Pretty Cure, who's had six whole seasons and is on a seventh now IIRC. Things stay fresh though thanks to the fact they cycle out casts and do different continuities.

Heck, one piece has 400 some odd episodes, and Detective Conan has over 500...

Anyway, Ah My Goddess is one of my favorite animes, and Belldandy is still my favorite anime girl of all time. I first found out about her when I was 14...I'm now 23.

Anyway, I highly recommend that you watch the original OVA "Oh! My Goddess!"

I think they chose better voice actors in the english version of that series. The english version of "Ah! My Goddess!" makes me cringe. Especially Skuld...

Anyway, it has a great story that's always held a soft spot in my heart. One aspect that I loved about it is that Keiichi and Belldandy love each other and they stay with each other no matter what. It's not a harem anime where Keiichi can't decide what girl he wants. It's always Kei+Bell. I thought that was refreshing.
