Wow, I didn't know they wrote books for the movie 0_o

I find it funny that Ashley Tisdale was a secondary character in that movie but the she some how got most of the spot light from the movie. The roll also seemed to make her more popular, and it seemed to boost her career as well. She's even a pop singer now, and she has a pretty big fan base because of that movie.

I haven't seen the full movie yet, but I've liked her since the suite life of zack and cody. I think her character and London are hilarious. I was a bit shocked when I found out that she was a little bit older than me. On suite life she plays a 15 year old girl 0_0

But if Tommy from Power Rangers can play a teenager at the age of 20 something I'm sure other people can too ^_^

For those of you who are a little too young to remember, Tommy was the original green ranger. Then the white, and then the red...now I think he appeared again in dinothunder (or something) and now he's the black ranger. Tommy was my favorite character, lol.

Posted by: SolarfireWinx Jun 14 2007, 4:26 AM

I'm sure they'll have a manga from the movie too. lol.

Love dat book.

As for currently:

Tokyo Mew Mew volumes 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6
Mink volume 4
The Big Book of Girl Stuff

(Here's an excerpt from page 31, exactly how it is, I am not kidding!
"You: That Timmy sure is great!
Your "friend": Oh, let me tell you, her is SUCH a creep! Let me steer you in the right direction...You should be going out with Brandon.

AND

You: That Timmy sure is great!
Your friends (all together): Eww! He is SO nerdy!"

My question: coincidence? I think not. I think one of the six authors watches Winx Club!)

A word of advice, never pay to read Tokyo Mew Mew: A La Mode. The series lasted only two volumes and was pretty much hated by the fans of the series for having a Mary-Sue take over for everybody in the group. She's like Chibi-Usa, only worse. At least Chibi-Usa's actually tolerable in the fourth season.

Posted by: StellaRocks Jan 10 2008, 9:03 PM

i was NEVER going to read it

Posted by: AnnieBelle Jan 10 2008, 9:37 PM

Ew. I accidentally renetd that from the school library...because I didn't see the Ala Mode part, y'know? I read the thing, and was like...she seems kinda perfect.
I went and read as much tokyo mew mew stuff I could get my hands on, and drew up a Mary Sue test. What's-her-face got...27 out of 30. That's a dangerous score.

Cardcaptor Sakura:Master of the Cards vol.6 again

Posted by: AnnieBelle Jan 14 2008, 10:05 PM

Okay, I'm reading Elizabeth I: Red Rose of The House of Tudor right now, but I'm also reading my English paper right now. Does that count?
I'm gonna explain the paper now since I have nothing better to do before 5:30...In class, we all had to think of a list of 27 movie titles (the list was shared by the whole class). I said 'The Secret Of The Lost Kingdom' for one. Then, we had to write a story using 25 of the 27 titles. But the story couldn't be related to the plot of any of the movies. A sample line from my paper:
“You’re the new nurse, correct? Hurry over to room 476 B. The patient wants his chicken liver at exactly eleven-thirty."

Just finished reading the original fiction piece "Sailor Nothing." It's similar to Sailor Moon, and almost a parody...

Except it's extremely disturbing, the heroine is disillusioned with her duties and struggling to suppress her suicidal thoughts. An excellent piece of work, nevertheless, and written in numerous styles... one chapter was made with RPG-maker, for example.

Posted by: AnnieBelle Feb 1 2008, 3:20 AM

@Morgan- Sounds neat.
@StellaRocks- When did it come out? I NEED to go to Borders on Saturday, unless the snow clogs up the dang roadways again.

Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 1 and 2.

I think it's cool, and I love the TV show, despite Lizzie being all, "OMG! The voices got, like, soooo messed up!"
And I just said, "and this is coming from someone who's never compared a japanese version to the American version."

It was awesome, it was kinda interesting, too. The rest of the book proves everything stated in the first chapter to be false. xD

Unica-Maurizio D'Aniello and Elisa Rosselli. (I translated a couple lines from this song--and a few others--into English, and one of my friends randomly taught me how to do sign language with it...It's pretty funny. I played it from my mp3 player on my stereo, and we were hopping around, doing sign language to Italian music. The lines we didn't know, we used Liat's 'dance' from Happy Talk, from South Pacific.)

(PS: This wasn't a mistake, I was reading the song lyrics at the time.)

XDDD Annie I don't know what it is about your posts, but they crack me up. Don't take this the wrong way, but I love you girl. XD

*back on topic*

I just finished The Dream of the Stone by Christina Askounis
It was actually pretty deep even though it comes off as a book for younger teens. :/ It reminded me of The Giver, in how it was deep, but they aimed it at younger kids. Good book though, really different concepts/ideas. I couldn't put it down at the end, but I hated the ending. lol

I'm now reading Witch Season by Jeff Mariotte. I'm loving his writing style so far, the Askounis's bugged me a bit because it was kinda randomly sophisticated in some places and juvenile in others. XD Odd book, but good. lol.

Cool. Maybe I should read one of those! I thnk I have one somewhere in my house that is for the teenage soul but I have no clue, I might have gotten rid of it since my aunt thought it was a great birthday gift 4 years ago when I turned 11 and wasn't interested in those books at all!

Lesse... as for the first comment, don't really care! I say that all the time to my friends, not to mention every other normal girl in the school does as well to their friends...ilu too. xD
As for the second...my English teacher was making a list of books we might read near the end of the year, that was one of 'em.
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy was also on there, that's basically the PEGS kid's Bible, since it's just random enough...*ADHD & ADD kids galore*
