I realllllly hope someone can help me out with this. Does anyone know where quality downloads of the Rai dub are available? I'm trying to get as much of the series as possible; the 4kids version just doesn't cut it for me anymore since they change and remove soooo much. (Also, the rai due episodes usually appear to be much brighter than the 4kids for some reason) I know they're available on places like youtube, but I'm trying to find these for keeps. ;D

Oo, I've also wondered where to find Season 2 and 3 (Season 1 Rai version is hosted on torrents at the moment). Youtube is a good start, but would anyone know anywhere else I can download them? My beefs with youtube are 1) bad quality (sometimes audio too) and 2) they usually split episodes into more than one part. Thanks for any help =).

OK, it seems I can help sooner than I thought. You can view every episode of series 1 and some of series 2.... I haven't finished encoding them yet! Download them by signing up to the site. It's the only way, soz!!

That's great Zentron =). I do have a question: what type of files are they? (avi, flv, mpeg, etc) I may still download them anyway, but I'm always on the look out for the avi quality stuff. Thanks either way!

Right on! Thanks for taking the time to put them up =). I've been trying to watch them all again in Rai so that I can listen to dialogue that is closer to the true Italian version and hopefully get a better understanding of what 4kids dubs out. Too bad no one is releasing the 3rd season in Rai yet =(.
And if you're okay with decent avi quality, there is a torrent for the 3rd season up...but that depends if you like the 4kids version =P.

No problem because I was just downloading the last 5 episodes on that torrent a few days ago =P. Fresh in my head. But the dual language may require some codecs (not entirely sure) to run with your media player. Just give a holler to someone on the forums if you have any problems getting the English part to work.

Well I've encoded episodes 7-9, now it's just a case of getting my upload connection issues sorted so I can get them up on my channel!!

Awesome Zentron ^^, I'm uber excited to be getting the second season in Rai, yay!
I haven't heard of it, but if you know it works go for it! (If for some reason it doesn't, my back up is to use Media Player Classic and then outfit it with the k-lite codec pack. It pretty much supports all types of audio and video files, which is what I currently use to watch all my videos and dvds =). And you will be able to switch between Italian and English audio whenever you want.)

Darn it, lol, you put episode 9 up pretty much right before I went to bed, and I had just got done downloading the others--which by the way, I am in flipping awe over how pristine they are! Either Veoh whoops the butt of Youtube when it comes to quality, or you have mad video skills, or a combination of both. I'm so happy to have high quality episodes for my collection. It took me a while to figure out the downloading scheme, but it was easy afterward. I just wish I didn't have to install the Veoh player, but that's what the family junk computer is for ^^. Bravo and thanks again!

Haha, sameee I was on my laptop before I went to bed when I saw episode 9 but the player and everything is on my actual computer! But I'm literally ecstatic about these episodes! I never thought I'd be able to get perfect quality, thanks Zentron! I'm seriously debating throwing out my 4kids episodes, (they're not to mention bad, but insanely dingy in color. and I have the good quality ones of those too!) but if I want to do differences between 4kids and RAI on my site, then I'd have to keep them for screen caps. I'm still debating that though...that'd take FOREVER.

Also, I can help you out a little bit with you on your website woes!
Here's a few version comparison images and a couple of scene playouts as they should have been or were cut out of the 4Kids versions, plus, if you download the word file, you can get a write-up I have done of episodes 1 & 2 of S1, which I have noted where and what 4Kids have messed around with, also some digs at 4Kids too:

Also, mustn't forget to mention, the downloaded version is much better than the streaming version.
Also, also, episode 11, Race Against Time, will be available in about 5 minutes or so. Plus, episode 12, United Victory, will be up later tonight, I currently have it on the upload, but I'm going out soon so I won't be able to add it to my channel until I get back... or I find the time to do so whilst I'm out!

i think its Croatia blocked veoh, i've heard in the news and stuff that certain countries have blocked certain sites like that because there was offensive material on it to them

That's bogus to block stuff like that, especially when the site has filters. Not all censorship is necessary. If they are worried, let's say about the kids, the best thing is to teach your children what to watch and what not to watch. Banning sites will not stop them, but talking to them might.
Perhaps though they were getting into legal fights with the "download" option. *shrug*

OK then, more news, I will be getting started on the next 3 videos in a few minutes. They just take about 2 and a bit hours to encode, then another 2 or so to upload on to the Veoh server... with a few minutes of processing time!

I was looking up the release dates for Season 3 DVDs, and it shows the date for Sept. 2...but do you know if that is just for the 4kids version or is that also for the English Rai version? The internet is really confusing sometimes.

Series 3 has been out on DVD in Italy for a short time now, but as I have mentioned before, treat them as if they were contaminated by the Black Plague and avoid them as such!! They are no way near in the same league as the Mondo Home Entertainment DVDs that I have of the first and second series!!!

Also, bad news I'm afraid!! The DVDs in September are the ones by..... 4KIDS, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooOOOOOooooOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!
I just checked the back of the 4Kids Winx Club DVDs I've kept until I do my comparison document, and the publisher of the DVDs is by FUNimation! Y'see, FUNimation do the 4Kids release, and Mondo Home Entertainment do the Italian DVD releases, 'cept say the 3rd series as of yet! Pity

It only takes 4 and a bit hours per episode, nothing big!! Once it took 3 days for a video to encode... now that was a long time to wait, and have my computer on for!!
I've just decrypted my disc and will encode the next episode, just after I have done another job!

I enjoy encoding, sure it takes time, but it gives me an excuse to leave my computer desk and watch some DVDs. I say excuse, I mean an excuse to myself, otherwise I'd be sitting down at it all day!

Note the screen preview on the left is the original file with the scanlines, on the right, is the same file, but with the deinterlace filter applied!! And notice on the first tab at the bottom of the screen, the Magix Club forum is clearly open!

Lol, we feel so honored here at MC to see the MC forum in your task bar xD.
That's a nice program--it fixes those funky lines very nicely =). I used to play around with ripping DVDs and trying to find good VOB to AVI programs...but the programs were either too expensive, too much hassle to download, or just too frustrating half the time. So now I stick to torrents, lol. Glad you've got a nice handle on this though.

Wooooow I'm sorely upset that the dvds for September are 4kids. We need to send them an email saying we don't want them to make DVDs to avoid any future upset like this. xD I'm really eager to see the Season 3 RAI dub, I hope they're working on it nowwww~

They're the guys who did the GOOD releases that I am using... though of course, don't tell them what I'm doing

I will have the next 3 episodes out by late tonight, mostly as I am suffering from Labyrinthitis and won't be checking to see if the encode has finished as much as I usually do, to ensure a speedy encode-upload time!

Oh it's all good Zentron! XD It'd be best if I get something productive done than watch the show anyway. xDD I really don't mind the wait, it just makes the next episodes you upload even better!
&seriously, about the movie. Haha After I saw the screencaps I really can't wait to watch the whole thing and FINALLY know what's going on, but it's all good. I'm not about to go crazy or anything, I'd rather have it done right than have errors in it~

I looked on Michael's Favorites, and I saw that the season 3 dvds were to be released in October from some site...I'm so glad before jumping to conclusions I looked at recent posts because I remember the mention of a dvd being released unfortunately by 4kids. I thought Funimation was pretty good so maybe they're the right company. I'm wrong. The descriptions were the same, just a different site.
But hey, I'm glad I looked that up first to compare before I got mine, and everybody else's hopes up. For a second I felt like I found Eden or something D:

I'm just wondering if they are stalling with the 3rd series DVDs, until series 4 gets its first TV airing, which'll be fine if that is the case, but I just can't stand waiting at times!!OK, I will have the last two up tonight, then I can mourn being less of series 3!

yeah, that's true. If they knew that people, especially in America, would love to get their hands on the RAI dub, I think they'd have the smarts to switch haha I wonder how much money they're possibly getting off the dvds for 4kids too...I mean, it's not a real widespread thing, at least in my area; I don't even see the dolls anymore. (Which I sorely regret and kick myself for not buying that darn Flora doll I saw....)
Great! They probably are stalling... D: I can't imagine why though, how long has it been out now? I think they're overdue for the DVD honestly. If they're waiting for season 4...I don't know what I'd do, since that's planned for 2009, isn't it?

Right, well the final video encode will be finished in about..... oooo, 0 seconds!! OK, it'll take about two hours for the first vid to upload, then the next, in about three hours...give-or-take! So in about 4 hours, search for the titles, 'Face To Face With The Enemy' and 'The Ashes Of The Phoenix', as usual, they should be marked as being released by me... well, SamOtaku!

Haha, you can't say hate on the 4kids forum? Oh man...I've heard that place is such a mess. I've considered signing up there just for the entertainment of fights, but hey, that's not mature. >D

Well that's it everyone, the last two episodes are up and available for viewing/download in my channel, http://www.veoh.com/channels/magicwinx. They mark the end of my run of uploads... for a long time to come, as I don't have series 3 on DVD.

I just wish YouTube would up its quality or allow decent video downloads, but I doubt it will happen anytime soon!
If everyone would email [email protected] and tell them how much they loved their 1st and 2nd series Winx Club DVDs (of course not mentioning my uploads) and that you would love to have the 3 series from them, that'd be great. They'd know how much interest people have and may convince them to release the DVDs... of course, I'd like you all to buy them for yourselves, but I'll be getting them anywayz, and upload them if you can't afford or actually purchase them!

Le sigh, now here's the wait for season 3 to be released and then ripped. D: what I love about these DVD quality episodes is that they are perfectly flawless and bright to where they make great graphics. And the enchantix just haaaas to be season 3! I'm trying to get all of their fairy dust pictures (that is if they even all have them, I don't remember Bloom even using hers in the 4kids version...actually I just remember Stella's and Flora's) and I can't do that without the RAI.
Anyway, I never email companies, but I'll definitely do so for this instance! I just feel strange I'm writing in english and the site's italian; that doesn't matter, right? xD; I'd like to buy them too, support what I love AND have the actual DVDS (I have 0 winx merchandise...not even something as insignificant as a sticker.) I just don't know about ordering overseas though...I've never ordered something from so far away.
Ugh, and I had the misfortune to find http://www.buycartoon.it/customer/search.php?in_producer=01 DVDS, I don't know if anybody has mentioned them before, and I don't think they're the bad DVDs with Mono sound, but they're still just Italian. Unless Dolby is another word for english. Which I doubt. :<

Yep, that's why I love these DVD rips too: perfecto quality.
And the Dolby is just the sound system...so unfortunately no English =(.

Yeah, that's what I figured. xD It's so upsetting that they didn't include the english version of season 3 in the dvds...it's kinda like why not add it, it's the same show and available in two languages. They could've bumped up the price too if they wanted

Also, as a little helper to distinguish between the two versions, here's some pics of the Rai/Mondo Home Entertainment S1 DVDs:
Two Boxed Set

Single Discs 4-6
The thing to note is that these have the 'Mondo Home Entertainment' logo on the covers bottom right-hand corner. With the second series (I'll post the images later), the title of the disc is in Italian, along with the rest of the text!

This person is uploading all of season 3 rai. I mean ALL of it because so far they are just missing the LAST EPISODE
I'm going to start downloading the highest quality I can snag from youtube, merge them together, and then upload via a torrent. Note that this will ONLY be when the last episode of season 3 is up..
My upload isn't good, but I can do it all night at 70kb/s up. I assume you people know how to do torrents?
Ohh.. my post didn't appear last..
Anyway, if anyone has links for episode 22 and 25, I can complete the collection and upload it to the interwebs!

Season 3 is only on youtube in crap quality. I did a torrent of it, but it wasn't worth it.
