She dropped major hints, though. I don't remember what they were, but my friend catalogued it well and watched various websites quite closely. Interviews were had. Clues were revealed.

Most likely, there will be a huge dramatic scene in which Harry sees that to save everyone he has to die...I guess that's what I think.

There seems to be a pretty even split between the "Harry and Voldemort will both die" camp and the "Harry will not die but Voldemort will" camp. I personally am partial to the former.

I don't think there's any official news on whether she actually wants to kill Harry. Liability issues and copyrights would protect him from being brought back by other authors.

Yes, the prophecy is "neither can live while the other survives." That's why a lot of people figure they'll both die.

It comes out at like 7 or 8 or maybe 9 (don't remember which) in Australia.
WOOT. I have asked for the weekend off from work and blown off an 18th.
SOOO exicted.
I remember first reading them when I was 10. I figured that the last one would come out when I was 13/14. I was woorid that I might loss interest in them by then. LOL. Im now 17 and I still love them.

As for theorys: Harry is the last Horcurx he will have to kill him self to kill Voldie.
When Voldie tried to kill him the first time (as a baby) he 'failed'
Dumbles has already said that He put some of Himself into Harry, hence the parsel tounge. But what if Harry is indead the 7th Horcux.
Voldie couldn't find some thing of Griffendores but there sat Harry......

I'm part of the generation that more or less follows the age line of the characters. It's kind of funny to read books about kids basically your own age doing all this crazy stuff.

As for Harry being the seventh Horcrux, I seriously doubt it. If that happens, I would be so disappointed.

From what I've read in the books, it's highly unlikely that Draco becomes 'good' any time soon. That's just fans not wanting him to end up evil.
As for Snape..... I'm very unsure. On one hand, his outburst at the end of book six seemed very sincere. On the other hand, Dumbledore really trusted this guy..... I really want to find out.

Sorry, Selena, but I firmly believe that Draco's evil, and stays evil. There hasn't been any proof in the books that he wants to turn good, and I rather stick to canon then fanon.

To me Draco seems...confused. I'm not sure how he'll turn out, and Snape? That is a serious stretch to say his affiliation can be predicted. I'm not even gonna guess at that one.

well my theory:

snape killed dumbledore, to win the trust of voldemort (this here is all dumbledores plan!) then he has the best circumstances to do everything to help harry without being misstrusted by voldemort.. (i mean, you know.. dumbledores last words were: severus, please.. the sounded entreated.. would a man like dumbledore entreat about his life?? nooo this was a entready for his own death..)

Besides something about that relationship feels wierd to me, I don't know. I I find it hard to picture Harry with anybody (in a romantic sence) after rhe war. I do hope I am wrong, for Harry sake.

I dunno about Ginny dying.... I mean, she has been the candidate ever since J.K. Rowling said someone was going to die in 'Order of the Phoenix', beside, apart being Harry's lover (Did I spie that right? I suck at romance), she really isn't that big of a deal in the war.

Well I've known since book 6 that JK Rowling has no qualms about killing Harry, Daniel Ratcliff(spelled that wrong, oh well) said he also wants Harry to die, because he wants to do a super dramatic scene like that.

I personally at the moment believe that Harry is most likely going to die, my oppinion my change but right now I beleive Harry is going to kill Voldemort, but hw will me mortally wounded by Voldemort, and die shortly after. But I know Voldemort will die, or JK Rowling will be sued for all shes worth by all the fans for not giving us a happy ending lol.

Also I read an interview in a magazine and I beleve she said there will be up to like 5 main character deaths... or I jsut read it wrong... But the very last chapter is the epilogue, where you are filled in on what everyone(whoever survives of harry's friends) ends up doing after school etc

I personally hope to god that Neville doesn't die; I love him ;_; Draco too. He is a little jerk but I still like him.... It might be because his actor is Tom Felton *swoon*

I have to reread the 5 and 6th book to tell you my opinion. From what i remember from book 6, I think Harry going to die at the end. I feeling he going to. They can't kill off Hagid, any of the weasely family except for Percy, and remus.

the scar on harry forehead is the last horcrux in my opinion.that why its hurts when voldemort feels better.the scar is a part of voldemort body so when his body gain strength its hurts harry.what do you think about it?????

Ron and Hermione needs to get together in the last book. That or Hermione ends up with Viktor Krum, but most likely with Ron. So i rooting for Ron and Hermione.

i haven't even read the sixth one yet but as soon as i'm don re reading the 5th one I will read that so I will be ready to read this one. I hope ron and hermione kiss i really do! They like each other. I watched the second movie today alone and they just are kind of awkward around each other and bicker all the time over small things I really want them to get together once and for all!

I don't want him to die! This is just a theory but here is what I think if one of the main characters dies

Hermione dies and ron is so sad because they pretty much knew they liked each other for a while but never talked to each other about it and he never got to kiss her or anything like that and maybe they had another one of their fights before she died and never made up and he will feel really really terrible, idk just a guess.

Then at least use the spoilerbox when telling it, like this. this is inconsiderate for people who haven't read the book yet (all of us.) and wish to find those things out while reading. (Most of us, probably.) You know those guys that shouted out Order of the Phoenix Spoilers at kids who were in line to get the actual book? This is just the same thing. You've already ruined a big part of the reading for me. Be considerate and edit your posts for the fortunate ones. I'm sorry if I sound angry, but this is an aggravating situation.

me too. i'm reading it now and i'm up to chapter 9 and some people have died allready. im sad about the one but it isn't a big deal really. and my dad read the ending and it is kinda cool but i don't mind seeing it was the epilogue though. oh and the spoilers i read online, aren't true i don't think, thats what my dad said but i haven't gotten that far yet.

how can you finish that fast? anyways i want to understand the book so i'm not trying to read through it fast. I'm just trying to read to find out. I really really really want ron and hermione together and it better happen! But it has been really interesting, more interesting that the sixth book for sure! just, how can they call it "year seven" when they didn't return to hogwarts for their seventh year

if i realy wanted to and didnt have a friend constently anoying me and trying to get me to put the book down i would have been able to finnish it in a few hours but i wanted to read it slowly so i could enjoy it and it is realy hard to concerntrat on reading with someone singing at the top of their voice lol

yeah the worst death was lupin and tonks, they were my favorite "non main" characters and especially because they got married and they had a baby!! but at least the baby did live. why did she have to make both of them die though?? and fred.. but true, i'm glad she made percy come back and have the weasly family together before they lost fred

I loved the book, I got it at 10am the day it came out and finished around 1am lol. I have to say I didnt really like the ep. at the end. I hope that J.K. writes another book in a few years, maybe a christmas book or something. I know that she has said she might be making a harry potter dictionary..or something like that.

welll as you guys know i was in france.. and there is absolutely NO Bookshop NOWHERE!!! it was horrible!!! i wanted to read the english version cause it takes to long till the german one comes out.. so i went (only for harry potter) to 3 different citys.. after 2 days i finally found a book shop, which had harry potter --- BUT it was a book club.. they have books for their members cheaper.. and you cant buy those books if your arent in that club.. sooo i joined that club^^ xD
Well - and finally GOT IT!!!

i read it in 1 1/2 days... crying all the time... but it was coool!!! i really liked the ending

thats so sad... i was up north. (michigan term...) i went to get it at midinght the day it came out and they blocked of a street for a harry potter party and there had to be 1000 people in line...

Harry Potter 7 (movie) Part 1 is already out!! So anyone went to the cinemas?? My dad tried to download Part 1 in the computer but after a while of watching, there was no voices coming out of the characters.. *sigh*
