I've decided to ditch Freewebs for another service, one where I don't have to have their image on every blasted page. I was wondering if anybody happened to know of really good reliable free ones that aren't obnoxious with ads. (I'm also using Faedust-Charms to benefit myself to learn such things as CSS and web design in general) It might be a lot to ask for a free hosting but I've found a few meeting that criteria, I just don't know which one to choose. I just don't want to go and buy one, I don't really know how long Faedust-Charms will even last. xD

Try this site. They've got a list of about 20 sites per page, and 15 pages (about 281 web hosting sites in total). So you'll have plenty of choices.

And I reccomend not using Piczo, you probably already know, but just in case, it is very add-full XD

I think Piczo advertises even more than Freewebs. Also, you can't use that much of your own coding on Piczo.

Ooooh no, I'm already aware of Piczo. I can't handle all of that. xD
Oh hey! I spent a lot of time on that site last night, Jahnavi, it's really good. More than likely I'm going to find a new host through there, I'm just having a hard time deciding. For instance, I signed up for one called l4rge.com, and it's amazing in what it offers for free and no ads, BUT getting into it and actually building is impossible. I was sooo disappointed.
Thanks though!

You're welcome.

Why don't you try 700megs? It's the first one on their list, and it looks really good. (1400 MB of free web space, no ads, FTP and Browser upload, and PHP scripting.)

Yep, I now have an account with them! I haven't started using it yet, but my hopes are high for it. It seems pretty easy to use and they have a lot of tools in order to help with HTML, which is really good for quick references.

Now my concern is trying to understand CSS better...that's going to be many tears and frustration...

Really? I don't think it'll be that hard. Just search for "CSS Tutorials" on Google. I've found some really good tutorials that way.

I've looked, but I'll get to a certain point in a tutorial and it says to do something, and the actions disabled in dreamweaver. The sad thing is I've done CSS twice before, but since summer hit, I forgot how to do what I've learned in class.

That's too bad. Good luck finding some good tutorials.
