hehe, nice advise^^ never encountered that problem, but still, i'll guess it. In rare cases, there can be another nice option. Just cut the "gummed" peace of hair, if it's small enough. Oh yeah, and don't forget to beat the hell out of the one who did it, cause i don't think such a situation can happen accidently, in rare cases it does.

Or, go in a bath tub, fill it with hot water, go in it, and soak your hair and wash it out with SHAMPOO like everyone else does. Peanut butter is a wives tale.

No it's not. My dad came home with tree sap stuck in his hair one day, and mom used peanut butter to get it out. He was skeptical about it himself, but it worked.
And theoretically, anything with an oil in it could work. Like baby oil for instance.
